The headline’s identity claim is not verified: available search results do not establish which designer supposedly “fixed” Grand Theft Auto’s driving or which game they “remastered.” A fan-made restoration of the 1997 Grand Theft Auto is one possible lead, but there is no evidence confirming it is the release described.
Who fixed Grand Theft Auto’s driving?
No designer attribution for that claim has been verified. The quoted word “fixed” should therefore be treated as the headline’s framing, not an established description of a person’s work.

Which game was remastered?
The specific game and release remain unidentified. A search result describes a fan-made project that packages the original 1997 Grand Theft Auto for modern PCs and Steam Deck, but it does not connect that project to the headline or establish that its maker changed the driving. PC Gamer’s surfaced result is a lead, not confirmation.

There is no verified connection. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, associated with Rockstar Games and Grove Street Games, is a separate remastered collection surfaced in search results. It has not been confirmed as the release described by the headline. GameSpot’s surfaced result concerns that adjacent product, not the unidentified project.

What can be said about the release?
The available evidence does not establish the project’s identity, creator, release date, official or fan-made status, gameplay changes, supported platforms, or release status. The 1997 restoration is not enough to fill those gaps, and no relevant statistic or attributable quote about the headline’s subject was verified.
