The original Denon Home 150, 250 and 350 are Wi-Fi speakers in three sizes, with the 150 built for a compact setup, the 250 adding stereo drivers and the 350 offering the largest driver array. Siri control is available through AirPlay 2; Siri is not described as built into these speakers. Denon lists Alexa as built in on the 250 and 350.
How the original Denon Home speakers differ
The models share Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Denon’s HEOS multi-room platform, but their size, driver configurations and listed U.S. prices differ. The prices below are those shown in Denon’s U.S. comparison when accessed October 7, 2026; they can change and should be checked before buying.

|---|---|---|---|
| Denon Home 150 | Mono; two drivers | Detailed driver sizes not stated on the cited comparison | $249 per speaker |
| Denon Home 250 | Stereo; four drivers | Two ¾-inch tweeters, two 4-inch mid-bass drivers and a 5¼-inch passive radiator | $549 per speaker |
| Denon Home 350 | Stereo; six drivers | Two ¾-inch tweeters, two 2-inch mid-bass drivers and two 6½-inch woofers | $749 per speaker |
These driver details are Denon specifications, not independent measurements. Driver count and cabinet size alone do not establish how loud or bass-heavy a speaker will sound in a particular room.
Which model fits your room and priorities?
Home 150: compact and mono
The Home 150 is the smallest and least expensive of the three in Denon’s U.S. comparison. Its mono, two-driver configuration makes it the straightforward choice when a compact single-speaker setup matters more than stereo presentation from one unit. Denon’s product page lists Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2, along with HEOS support.

Home 250: stereo in the middle of the range
The Home 250 is a mid-size stereo speaker with four drivers and a passive radiator. It costs more than the 150 but less than the 350 in Denon’s listed comparison. In its listening comparison of all three originals, What Hi-Fi? called the 250 the “Goldilocks” option; that is the publication’s subjective assessment, not a guarantee that it will suit every room or listener.
Denon specifies network and rear-USB playback for selected high-resolution formats on the 250, including playback up to 192 kHz/24-bit and DSD support. The available formats and streaming services depend on the model and region; consult Denon’s product page for current details.

Home 350: the largest, mains-powered option
The Home 350 is the largest and most expensive original model in the comparison, with a stereo, six-driver layout that includes two 6½-inch woofers. It is a mains-powered home speaker, not a battery-powered portable speaker. Tom’s Guide describes pairing a Home 350 with a Home 150; that pairing is the reviewer’s reported experience, not a general performance test here.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesLike the 250, the 350 supports selected network and rear-USB high-resolution playback up to 192 kHz/24-bit and DSD. These are manufacturer-supported format capabilities, not a promise that every service or file will use those settings.

Does Denon Home work with Siri?
Yes, through AirPlay 2. Denon says compatible AirPlay 2 features can be controlled with Siri, so an Apple device can provide Siri voice control for supported functions. That is not the same as having Siri built into the speaker.
Denon describes Alexa as built in on the Home 250 and 350. What Hi-Fi? reports that the original Home speakers can also be addressed through Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri via AirPlay 2, though setup and availability depend on the configuration and supported features. The publication notes that Alexa took the most setup among the voice-control methods it tested.

On the Home 250 and Home 350 product pages, Denon states: “Voice features are only enabled on user request. Mics can be disabled any time.” This wording is shown on those two model pages; check the documentation for the specific model you own rather than assuming it applies identically to the 150.
How HEOS multi-room and connections work
HEOS is Denon’s app-based route for grouping compatible speakers. Denon says it can play the same audio in every connected room or different content in different rooms. The Home speakers also list Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2, giving listeners several ways to send audio, subject to device, service and regional support.

Crutchfield’s June 30, 2026 hands-on article describes HEOS Built-in connecting compatible Denon and Marantz receivers, wireless speakers and sound bars over Wi-Fi. The article’s author also recounts setting up wireless surround and additional speakers; those are the author’s observations, not independent testing for this comparison.
Denon positions the Home Sound Bar 550 and Home Subwoofer as possible additions to a compatible home-theater setup. They are optional system-expansion components, not requirements for ordinary music playback. Check compatibility for the exact equipment and configuration before adding them.
Buying decision: a quick checklist
- Choose the 150 if compact size and a single mono speaker are the priorities.
- Consider the 250 if you want a stereo speaker in the middle of the range; What Hi-Fi?’s favorable “Goldilocks” verdict is one reviewer’s listening judgment.
- Consider the 350 if you want the largest original model and its six-driver stereo arrangement, and do not need battery portability.
- If Siri matters, look for AirPlay 2 compatibility rather than expecting Siri to be built into the speaker.
- If you plan a multi-room setup, confirm that your other devices and desired services work with HEOS in your region.
Denon introduced a newer Home 200/400/600 range in later coverage. What Hi-Fi? says that newer range can connect with the original Home 150/250/350 through HEOS, but specifications for the newer generation should not be assumed to apply to these original models.
