Verdict: The De’Longhi PrimaDonna Soul ECAM610.75.MB is a connected, bean-to-cup automatic machine built for households that want espresso, long coffees, iced drinks and milk recipes from one appliance. Its strongest case is the combination of a large bean hopper, automatic LatteCrema milk preparation, five user profiles and app-based recipe personalisation. The available evidence is specification-led, however: it does not establish taste, milk texture, noise, reliability or cleaning effort in independent use.
What the ECAM610.75.MB is
The ECAM610.75.MB is a PrimaDonna Soul automatic coffee machine. De’Longhi positions this exact model as a connected bean-to-cup appliance with Bean Adapt Technology, an automatic LatteCrema system, Coffee Link connectivity and a 4.3-inch touch display. In practical terms, it is designed to grind whole beans, brew coffee and prepare milk drinks with guided controls rather than requiring a separate grinder, espresso machine and milk frother.

That feature set makes the model most relevant to people who value menu breadth and repeatable household presets. It is less obviously suited to a buyer seeking a compact machine, manual control over every extraction variable or a product whose performance has been independently measured. The manufacturer’s pages establish what the machine is equipped to do; they do not constitute a taste, noise or durability test.
Published specifications
The English De’Longhi product page lists the following specifications for the ECAM610.75.MB. Dimensions are reproduced in the order shown by the manufacturer; confirm the orientation and clearance requirements in the manual for the local unit.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
| Specification | Published value | What it means for a buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Water container | 2.2 L | A relatively substantial reservoir for an automatic machine, although actual refill frequency depends on drink size, rinsing and milk use. |
| Bean hopper | 500 g | Holds a large amount of whole coffee before topping up; the practical number of drinks depends on dose settings and recipe. |
| Grounds container | 14 servings | Spent coffee pucks are collected internally until the container needs emptying. |
| Pump pressure | 19 bar | The manufacturer’s published pump rating, not an independent measurement of brewing pressure at the coffee puck. |
| Dimensions | 262 × 485 × 390 mm | Measure the counter depth, height and access above the machine before purchase, allowing room to remove containers and open service panels. |
| Weight | 12.661 kg | Plan a stable, level location; moving a full machine is inconvenient. |
| Electrical data | 220–240 V, 1450 W | Use only a unit rated for the local mains supply. Check the rating plate and manual rather than assuming this specification applies in every country. |
A 19-bar figure is commonly displayed on domestic coffee-machine specifications, but it should not be read as a guarantee of espresso quality. Crema, extraction balance and temperature depend on the grinder, dose, water, brewing design and coffee itself, none of which were independently tested for this article.
Drink menu: broad coverage, inconsistent headline counts
De’Longhi’s English page advertises “18 one-touch drinks.” Regional manufacturer material for the same model says the machine can prepare up to 21 beverages. Because those claims do not use the same count, the safest way to assess the menu is to look at the named recipes rather than treating either number as a universal total.
Coffee and milk options listed by the manufacturer
- Espresso
- Coffee
- Long coffee
- Americano
- Doppio+
- Coffee Pot
- Over Ice
- Milk-based drinks
- Hot water
- Tea function
- Mug To Go
The list indicates a machine aimed at mixed households: one person can choose a short espresso, another a larger long coffee, and another a milk recipe without changing appliances. “Coffee Pot” suggests a larger shared serving, while “Mug To Go” is intended for a taller take-away-style vessel. The exact recipe names, cup-size limits and availability can vary by regional software or market, so check the local product page and manual before treating the list as a promise of a particular beverage.
“Up to 21 beverages” should be understood as a regional maximum claim, not proof that every country’s interface exposes 21 identical one-touch selections. The English page’s 18-drink statement and the detailed list are the clearest evidence for the configuration sold on that page.
Bean Adapt Technology: what it promises and what it does not
De’Longhi describes Bean Adapt Technology as a system that sets the specific grinding size and brewing parameters for the beans selected, with the aim of tailoring extraction and delivering their aroma to the cup. That is a manufacturer description of the control strategy, not an independently verified result.
For a buyer, the potential benefit is reduced manual adjustment when switching between beans. Dark, medium and light roasts can behave differently in an automatic grinder, so a guided adaptation process could be useful for a household that buys more than one style. The evidence available here does not establish how many adjustment steps exist, how quickly the machine adapts, whether every recipe uses the same settings or how much improvement a user will taste.

Use the feature as an aid rather than a substitute for fresh beans, suitable water and sensible dose selection. If you prefer to control grind, dose and extraction manually, a fully automatic system—even one with adaptation software—will offer less direct control than a traditional semi-automatic setup.

LatteCrema milk workflow
The ECAM610.75.MB includes De’Longhi’s automatic LatteCrema system. In the intended workflow, the machine draws milk through its milk assembly and combines it with coffee according to the selected recipe, so a user can request a cappuccino-style or other milk drink from the interface instead of steaming milk with a separate wand.
Automatic milk preparation is valuable when several people want different drinks or when consistency of the button sequence matters more than manual steaming technique. It also introduces a second fluid path that must be assembled, refrigerated or emptied according to the local instructions. The material available for this model does not independently establish foam texture, serving temperature, noise, speed or how easy the milk components are to clean.
Questions to check before buying
- How is the milk container stored between drinks, and can it be detached without moving the machine?
- Which automatic rinse cycle runs after a milk recipe, and which parts require hand washing?
- What is the minimum and maximum milk volume for the recipes you drink most often?
- Does the local package include the same milk carafe and accessories shown in regional photos?
These are ownership questions, not minor details. A machine can have an impressive drink list while still being inconvenient if the milk container does not fit your refrigerator or if the cleaning routine does not suit your schedule. Confirm the local manual and package contents because accessories are regional and time-sensitive.
Touchscreen and Coffee Link connectivity
Control is provided through a 4.3-inch touch display, and the machine supports Coffee Link connectivity. De’Longhi says personalised recipes can be created through the app. The manufacturer also lists five user profiles; the Italian regional page specifies five profiles plus a guest function.

A sensible setup sequence
- Confirm that the machine’s rating plate matches your local 220–240 V supply and that the counter can support its 12.661 kg weight.
- Install the water container, bean hopper and grounds container exactly as shown in the local manual.
- Fill the hopper with the beans you intend to use and configure the machine’s initial drink settings.
- If you want app features, install the locally supported Coffee Link application, create or sign in to the required account and follow the pairing instructions shown on the machine.
- Create separate profiles for regular users only after the basic drinks work correctly; this keeps troubleshooting independent of personal presets.
- Use the Bean Adapt workflow when changing bean styles, recording which profile or recipe produced the preferred result.
The sequence above describes a practical order, not a substitute for the model-specific manual. Menu labels and pairing screens can change with software and region.
Capacity and daily workflow
The 2.2-litre water container and 500-gram bean hopper are the machine’s main convenience features for a busy household. They reduce the need for constant topping up compared with smaller automatic machines, but capacity is not the same as a guaranteed number of cups. Water is consumed by brewing, hot-water drinks and automatic rinses; beans are consumed according to the programmed dose and recipe.
The grounds container is rated for 14 servings. That number is a useful planning figure, but the machine may request emptying based on its internal detection and rinse cycles rather than on a simple drink counter. Empty the container when prompted and do not rely on the nominal capacity to postpone a required service action.

Typical use pattern
- Check the water level and bean supply before the first drink of the day.
- Select a named coffee, milk, hot-water or tea function on the touch display.
- Choose the saved profile or personalisation options if your household uses them.
- Place a cup that fits the selected recipe; use the Mug To Go option only with a vessel that fits beneath the outlet.
- After milk drinks, follow the machine’s prompted rinse or cleaning procedure rather than leaving milk in the circuit.
- Empty the grounds container when prompted and refill water before the machine runs dry.
This workflow explains why the model suits convenience-led buyers, but it does not prove that the steps are quick, quiet or effortless. Those are performance and usability questions that require hands-on testing.
Pre-ground coffee and water filtration
The English specifications state that pre-ground coffee can be used. This is useful when a household wants decaffeinated coffee, a different roast for one drink or a temporary alternative to the beans in the hopper. The precise loading method, dose limit and whether a pre-ground drink can be combined with every milk recipe should be checked in the manual.
A water filter is listed as applicable. The material reviewed does not identify an exact compatible filter part number, replacement interval or price. Do not order a generic cartridge solely because it appears to fit; verify the part number for your regional ECAM610.75.MB and follow the local water-hardness setup.

Cleaning, maintenance and service questions
An automatic milk system and internal grinder do not eliminate maintenance. They change which parts need attention. Before buying, look for the local manual’s instructions for milk-circuit rinsing, brewing-unit access, grounds-container emptying, descaling and filter replacement.
Recommended Free Tools
Maintenance items to verify
- Milk-container cleaning after milk use and storage instructions between sessions.
- Frequency and procedure for automatic or manual descaling.
- Whether the brewing unit is removable and how often it should be rinsed.
- Grounds-container and drip-tray emptying prompts.
- Exact water-filter model and replacement schedule.
- Warranty length, authorised service locations and repair process in your country.
No independent evidence available for this model establishes that cleaning is easy, that the machine is durable or that repair costs are low. Treat those as purchase checks rather than assumed benefits of the automatic design.
Size, installation and electrical compatibility
At 262 × 485 × 390 mm and 12.661 kg, the ECAM610.75.MB needs a dedicated counter position. Depth is especially important on a shallow worktop, while overhead clearance matters if the water container or bean hopper lifts out vertically. Measure the machine’s access path, not just the footprint shown on a product page.
The listed electrical specification is 220–240 V and 1450 W. Voltage is not a universal accessory choice: a machine intended for one electrical region may be unsafe or unusable in another. Check the rating plate, plug, warranty terms and manual for the exact country of sale. Do not rely on a travel adapter to convert voltage.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to compare it with another automatic machine
The available information does not support a performance ranking against another PrimaDonna or any competing model. A useful comparison should instead score the features that affect your routine and local ownership cost.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems| Comparison point | Questions to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Local price and warranty | What is the current price, warranty period and service coverage in your country? | Regional prices, delivery, stock and included support can differ substantially. |
| Drink coverage | Does the rival offer the coffee, iced, hot-water and milk recipes your household actually uses? | A longer menu is only useful when it matches real habits. |
| Milk workflow | How is the carafe stored, rinsed and cleaned? | Milk maintenance often determines daily satisfaction more than the headline drink count. |
| Capacity | What are the water, bean and grounds capacities? | Larger households may value fewer refills, while occasional users may prefer a smaller footprint. |
| Personalisation | Are profiles, guest access and app-created recipes available on the local version? | Shared users need separate settings; app features can vary by region. |
| Installation | Will the dimensions, access clearances and electrical rating fit your kitchen? | A machine that cannot be opened or safely powered is not a practical bargain. |
| Maintenance support | Are filters, descaler and service parts identified and available locally? | Consumable and repair availability affects long-term ownership. |
On the evidence available, the ECAM610.75.MB’s differentiators are its 500-gram hopper, 2.2-litre reservoir, named broad menu, Bean Adapt description, automatic LatteCrema system, five profiles and Coffee Link support. Whether those advantages justify its local price depends on the competing machine’s warranty, milk design and maintenance requirements.

What has not been independently established
A specification page cannot answer every question a review reader has. No independent measurements or firsthand results were available for:
- Espresso flavour, crema, temperature or consistency.
- Milk-foam texture and temperature.
- Noise during grinding, brewing or rinsing.
- Heating speed and recovery between drinks.
- App pairing reliability and software support.
- Long-term durability, failure rates or repair costs.
- The time and effort required for cleaning.
That distinction should guide your decision. Choose the ECAM610.75.MB for its documented workflow and capacity, not for performance claims that have not been measured.
Regional price and package checks
De’Longhi’s Italian and German pages show different local price contexts for the same model. Those figures are not a universal current price, and they may change with taxes, promotions, delivery charges, stock and currency. Before ordering, confirm the seller’s country, electrical variant, warranty, return policy, included milk components and any filter or cleaning accessories.

Strengths and limitations
Documented strengths
- Bean-to-cup preparation with a large 500 g hopper.
- 2.2 L water capacity and a 14-serving grounds container.
- Automatic LatteCrema milk system for one-appliance milk drinks.
- Named coverage including espresso, long coffee, Americano, Doppio+, Coffee Pot, Over Ice, tea and Mug To Go.
- Bean Adapt Technology described by De’Longhi as adjusting grind size and brewing parameters for selected beans.
- 4.3-inch touch display, Coffee Link connectivity and five profiles, with a guest function specified on the Italian page.
- Support for pre-ground coffee and an applicable water filter.
Limitations and unknowns
- The English “18 one-touch drinks” claim and regional “up to 21 beverages” claim are not identical.
- Independent evidence for taste, foam, noise, speed, reliability and cleaning is unavailable.
- The exact compatible filter part number is not identified in the available material.
- Price, stock, delivery, voltage variant and accessories depend on region and date.
- The 485 mm dimension and required service clearances must be checked against the local manual.
Final buying advice
Choose the ECAM610.75.MB if your priority is a broad automatic menu, shared user presets, app-enabled personalisation and fewer bean or water refills than a compact machine normally allows. It is particularly logical for households that alternate between black coffee, milk drinks, iced coffee and hot-water functions.
Pause before buying if counter depth is limited, if you want hands-on control of every espresso variable or if you cannot confirm local service and consumables. The model’s documented feature set is extensive, but the available evidence does not justify promises about flavour, quietness, cleaning simplicity or long-term reliability. Make those final checks locally, then compare the confirmed price and warranty with alternatives on an equivalent basis.
