De’Longhi describes app control through De’Longhi Comfort, geofencing that can activate the unit as the user approaches home, and support for Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. These capabilities depend on app and network setup; the feature list alone does not establish how seamless or reliable they are in everyday use. Cool Surround and MyEcoRealFeel
The CST smart remote includes a sensor that De’Longhi says can measure temperature and humidity around the remote so cooling responds to the user’s location; the company calls this Cool Surround. MyEcoRealFeel is described as adapting operation to comfort preferences through the app. De’Longhi claims energy savings of up to 30% for MyEcoRealFeel, based on its internal test with initial conditions of 30°C and 40% relative humidity. This is a company claim under stated test conditions, not an independently measured or guaranteed saving.
What the quietness claim means
De’Longhi says Silent Technology makes the unit up to 50% quieter. Its footnote compares sound at maximum fan speed with sound at minimum fan speed in the company’s laboratory. That does not compare the PAC EX130 CST WIFI with other air conditioners or establish that it will be quiet enough for a bedroom. The published service-document limit of ≤64 dB(A) and the product page’s separately presented pressure range are not interchangeable measurements.

Installation is a core buying consideration
This is a portable exhaust-hose air conditioner, not a hose-free appliance: hot exhaust must be routed outdoors, and the window components need to fit and seal the opening. De’Longhi lists a window bracket and a 1,200 mm hose with a 150 mm diameter; CHOICE lists a window kit and 120 cm duct. Confirm what comes with the exact local SKU and whether the window parts suit your window before ordering. Do not assume that an accessory listing for one market guarantees identical contents elsewhere.

Because the accessible listing does not disclose the score or detailed cooling, noise and energy results, it cannot support a conclusion about cooling speed in a specific room, noise in an occupied space, real-world efficiency or superiority over a competitor. The unit weighs 35.4 kg in De’Longhi service documentation, so moving it between rooms is a meaningful practical consideration. That document also says auto-restart returns to the previous operating mode after a blackout, but the compressor waits three minutes for safety; an active timer is deactivated and the unit returns to standby.

De’Longhi’s service document DSDL-22003-A warns: “This appliance contains the flammable refrigerant R290. Any maintenance operation on the refrigeration circuit must be performed uniquely by specialized personnel which must have adequate skills and the certification required by the F-GAS directive.” Do not open or attempt to repair the refrigeration circuit. Use model-specific operating and care guidance from the De’Longhi support center.
