What the PAC EL112 CST WiFi is—and what its rating means
This is the white De’Longhi Pinguino Care4Me model identified as PACEL112CSTWIFI or PAC EL112 CST WiFi. De’Longhi rates cooling capacity at 11,000 BTU/h, or 2.9 kW under EN14511 at 35°C and 40% relative humidity, and says it is suitable for rooms up to 110 m³. That figure describes room volume, so it cannot be read as a square-metre coverage rating without knowing the room’s ceiling height.

The manufacturer’s listed functions include cooling, fan-only operation and dehumidifying, with three fan speeds. It specifies dehumidification of 41 L/day, 950 W input power, 0.9 W standby, EER 3.1 and R290 refrigerant. Its regional specification rendering gives 220–240 V and 50 Hz; check the variant sold in your destination market before relying on those electrical details.
Smart comfort features: useful controls, not proven savings
MyEcoRealFeel and app control
De’Longhi describes MyEcoRealFeel as an app setting that asks whether you feel comfortable and adjusts operation accordingly. The company advertises energy savings of up to 30%, based on its internal test starting at 30°C and 40% relative humidity. That is a manufacturer claim under stated starting conditions, not a forecast of what a household will save.

Geofencing, voice assistants and the remote
The product page says geofencing can switch the unit on as you approach home and that the appliance can pair with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Cool Surround uses temperature and humidity sensing around the smart remote, aiming to respond to conditions near the person holding it rather than relying only on the unit’s location. These are descriptions of advertised functionality; the available evidence does not independently verify how reliably they work in everyday use or in every region.
What “up to 50% quieter” means
De’Longhi’s Silent Technology claim compares the maximum sound level at maximum fan speed with the minimum fan speed in a laboratory. It is a relative comparison between two operating settings, not an absolute noise rating or a guarantee that the unit is quiet enough for a bedroom.

Energy, noise and refrigerant figures in context
The EU product fiche for PAC EL112CST WIFI identifies the indoor model as PAC EL112 CST and declares an A+ energy class, EER 3.1, 2.9 kW cooling capacity, 0.9 kWh per 60 minutes under standard test results, 63 dB indoor sound power and R290 refrigerant with GWP 3. The fiche cautions that actual energy consumption depends on use and location.

Room conditions and use matter.
- Noise: 63 dB is a sound-power declaration. It is not interchangeable with a sound-pressure reading taken at a particular distance or position.
- Capacity: Compare cooling capacity in kW or BTU/h, and check that room guidance uses the same basis. The stated 110 m³ is a volume.
These distinctions matter if you compare this model with other portable air conditioners: an energy label, a marketing percentage and a sound-pressure measurement answer different questions.

Installation, dimensions and moving the unit
This is a portable air conditioner that vents heat through an exhaust hose; it is not a hose-free appliance. De’Longhi lists a 1,200 mm hose with a 150 mm diameter and dimensions of 450 × 410 × 750 mm, and gives a weight of 33 kg. CHOICE’s public listing likewise reports a 120 cm duct, 33 kg and dimensions of 75 × 45 × 41 cm (H × W × D).
CHOICE lists a remote, window kit and exhaust hose as supplied for its listed model. Package contents and window fittings can vary by regional version, so check what is included and whether the kit suits your window before buying. A short hose may also constrain where the unit can sit relative to the opening; confirm the installation arrangement for your room.

CHOICE’s public listing identifies the unit as cooling-only and displays its basic specifications. However, its detailed Expert Rating, cooling and energy-efficiency scores, high-fan noise result, running costs and recommended status are behind membership access. The publicly visible page therefore does not support a claim that CHOICE recommends—or rejects—the model, nor does it provide enough test results for a complete independent performance assessment.
CHOICE showed AUD $989 on the page accessed for this review, but that displayed price may be stale and is not a current buying recommendation. De’Longhi’s accessed English-language product page showed the model out of stock; that is a time- and region-specific observation, not a statement about worldwide availability.

Replacement parts and exact model matching
De’Longhi’s AU/NZ spares storefront lists parts for model code 0151462015, naming the appliance PAC EL 112 CST WIFI WH R290 (2023). Listed items include a stopper, 150 mm air hose, connector, flange with stopper and adapter. This provides a regional parts route, but does not establish that the parts fit every market version or revision. Match the model code and region before ordering.
