It makes sense for someone who wants a compact, straightforward Original-capsule machine and is comfortable inserting and ejecting capsules by hand. The key buying caveat is the bundle: De’Longhi’s support page associates this model with an Aeroccino, but that alone does not confirm a frother is included in every seller’s package. Check the exact listing and model code before ordering.
What is the EN80BAE?
De’Longhi identifies the EN80BAE support listing as “Inissia, Black” and describes the product as a “Nespresso Inissia Espresso Machine by De’Longhi with Aeroccino, Black.” That establishes the model’s identity and an Aeroccino-related version, but not the contents of every retail offer. Treat the machine and frother as separate package details until the seller confirms both are included.

That distinction matters because Nespresso also sells an Inissia Silver Bundle with Aeroccino 3. It is an example of a bundle, not proof that an EN80BAE listing has the same contents.
What does it make, and which capsules fit?
The Inissia family is a Nespresso Original system. Nespresso’s US Inissia product page describes Espresso and Lungo controls, with manual capsule insertion and ejection. Buy capsules marked for Nespresso Original compatibility; Vertuo capsules are a different format and are not the format identified for this machine.
The two controls provide preset coffee-size options rather than a broad menu of drinks. The machine itself does not make milk drinks; a frother such as an Aeroccino is an additional appliance, and whether one comes in the box depends on the specific offer.
Size, capacity, and daily handling
Nespresso’s US page gives the Inissia family reference dimensions as 4.6 × 12.6 × 9.1 inches and weight as 5.29 pounds. It also lists a removable 23.8-ounce water tank, an 11-capsule used-capsule container, and a folding drip tray. These are family-page specifications for a different Inissia color listing, not a separately verified EN80BAE specification sheet.

- Nespresso Inissia by De'Longhi offer
For another variant-specific reference, Nespresso’s Inissia D40 manual gives a 0.7 L tank, weight of 2.4 kg, and spent-capsule capacity of 9–11 capsules. These figures are for the documented D40 variant; the different units and presentation should not be treated as a discrepancy-free exact-SKU specification for EN80BAE.
The listed width is narrow, but it is not the whole fit test: the body is deeper than it is wide, and you need room above the machine to fill the removable tank. Measure the available counter depth and overhead clearance, and consider whether you can comfortably reach the tank and empty the capsule container.

What is not confirmed for this exact model?
The available exact-model support page does not provide a complete EN80BAE specification sheet or universal package list. In particular, do not assume that figures published for another Inissia or a related De’Longhi model automatically apply to this SKU.
- Heat-up time, pressure, and auto-off: De’Longhi lists 25-second heat-up, up to 19 bar pressure, and 9-minute auto-off for the related EN80B. Those are EN80B specifications, not confirmed EN80BAE specifications.
- Electrical details and warranty: the cited EN80BAE material does not establish exact electrical specifications or warranty terms for every market. Check the manual and seller documentation for the region where you will use the machine.
- Box contents: confirm whether the offer includes an Aeroccino and which version, rather than relying on a product heading or a separate bundle page.
Cleaning and descaling
The D40 manual covers operation, cleaning, troubleshooting, and descaling. Follow the instructions for the machine variant and market you have, rather than applying a procedure from an unrelated model. The available EN80BAE information does not verify a particular branded descaling solution as compatible, so do not assume a product is suitable unless its instructions and the machine’s documentation support that use.

Is the Inissia EN80BAE worth buying?
It is a reasonable fit if you want Nespresso Original capsules, two simple coffee-size controls, and a compact machine, and you do not mind handling capsules manually. It is less compelling if you expect automatic capsule handling, a built-in milk system, or a confirmed frother in the box without checking the seller’s package details.

Also account for the recurring cost and availability of Original-compatible capsules when comparing it with other coffee setups. The cited product information identifies the capsule system but does not establish current capsule prices or a per-cup cost, so compare the capsules you expect to buy before deciding.
