The Australian brochure says specifications may change and apply to products at the time of issue. Its figures are useful for identifying that market’s documented configuration, not a guarantee that every DD30P sold elsewhere—or every unit still in circulation—matches it.
How the DD30P drains water
The Australian brochure describes three drainage options: collect water in the removable tank, drain continuously through a hose, or use the pump system. The tank’s stated capacity is 7 L, so its capacity and the claimed daily removal rate are different measures: the latter does not mean the tank holds a day’s collected water.

Pump drainage
Some DD30P materials describe pump drainage, but buyers should verify that the particular regional unit includes the pump system. The De’Longhi DD Series instruction manual states, “The patented heavy-duty pump system allows water removal of up to 13 ft (4m) in height.” This is the manual’s stated maximum for the pump system, not a guarantee for a unit without that configuration.
The North American manual search material describes removing the pump stopper, connecting the supplied condensation discharge tube to the lower-front connection, selecting dehumidifying mode and pressing PUMP. Treat those directions as specific to the covered manual and unit; use the instructions supplied for your own DD30P rather than assuming the connection or controls are identical across markets.

Is the DD30P discontinued?
CHOICE lists the DD30P as discontinued in Australia. That establishes its status in that listing and market, not worldwide availability. Because the model may be encountered as existing stock or second-hand, check the seller’s region, the unit’s condition and included drainage components before purchase. The available sources do not establish current inventory in other markets.

De’Longhi’s AU/NZ parts listing for the DD30P identifies a replacement air filter, stopper ring nut and a pump-system item. - Obtain the manual for the regional model and confirm which drainage options are present.
- For a used unit, check that the tank, filter and any pump tubing or fittings are included and intact.

The DD30P may suit someone who has found a correctly configured unit and values a choice of tank, hose or pump drainage.
