DeepNude and SeaArt AI are not like-for-like products. The original DeepNude was a 2019 app associated with generating simulated nudity from clothed photographs; it is no longer available through an official channel. SeaArt is an active, general-purpose AI creativity platform. It is not an official DeepNude successor, and its published rules prohibit illegal and nonconsensual uses. Treat current sites using the DeepNude name as separate, unverified services—not as the original app.
DeepNude vs. SeaArt AI at a glance
| Criterion | DeepNude | SeaArt AI |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A historical 2019 “nudify” application; the original is not available through an official distribution channel. | An active AI creativity platform with image-generation, editing, model, workflow, and community features. |
| Typical use | Generated a simulated nude appearance from a clothed photograph. | Creates or edits a range of images and other media using prompts, reference images, models, canvas tools, and workflows. |
| Current status | Current services using the name are not verified as the original product. | Available through its website and mobile app, subject to regional and platform differences. |
| Key concerns | Nonconsensual intimate-image abuse, privacy exposure, malware, and scam clones. | Privacy, moderation, account, credit, copyright, and model-license considerations. |
| Is it a direct alternative? | No: it was a narrow tool associated with simulated nudity. | No: it is a broad creative platform, not an official replacement for DeepNude. |
The important distinction is not which service makes a more realistic nude image. A “nudify” output is synthetic: it does not see through clothing or recover hidden information. It invents a plausible-looking result, which can still cause real harm when made or shared without the depicted person’s consent.
What was DeepNude?
A synthetic image-manipulation app
DeepNude referred primarily to a 2019 application that altered clothed photographs to depict people as apparently nude. The result was an AI-generated approximation, not a view of a person’s actual body. The app became notorious because the same function could be used to create sexualized images of people who had not consented.
The original and today’s namesakes are different questions
The original app was withdrawn and has no verified official download channel. A website, APK, bot, or installer using “DeepNude” branding does not establish continuity with the original developer or code. One currently indexed service advertises nudification, face swapping, NSFW generation, APIs, and desktop products, but that branding does not verify its relationship to the 2019 app: DeepNude-branded service pricing page.

What is SeaArt AI?
A broader creative platform
SeaArt presents itself as an AI creation platform with text-to-image and image-to-image generation, AI Canvas, image repair, model and LoRA libraries, workflows, community features, and other image or video functions. Its feature set and availability may vary by account, region, and whether you use the website or an app. SeaArt’s guide describes the platform’s tools and generation interface: SeaArt interface guide.
Policies and age eligibility
SeaArt’s official guide says illegal, violent, pornographic, and infringing content is prohibited and that NSFW content is filtered. Its terms also prohibit creating images of real people without consent and sexualized depictions involving minors. Read the current policy rather than assuming a community example or content label overrides it: SeaArt FAQ and content guidance and SeaArt terms.
The U.S. App Store listing labels SeaArt 18+; its terms state an 18-or-older eligibility requirement. App-store ratings, account rules, and feature access can differ across platforms and regions. See the U.S. App Store listing.
Is SeaArt a DeepNude alternative?
No. SeaArt is not an official successor, and its published rules do not support using it to create nonconsensual intimate imagery. Whether a particular mature-content or image-editing feature is available can change by region, app, account, or policy update; that does not make the platform a lawful or supported DeepNude replacement. Do not seek prompts, models, or workarounds to evade its safeguards.
If your goal is lawful creative work, assess a general-purpose platform for its policies, privacy practices, output rights, and available tools. For a real person’s likeness, consent matters independently of who took or owns the source photograph. Photo ownership alone does not necessarily authorize turning the person shown into a sexualized image.
Privacy, legitimacy, and download risks
Do not install purported original copies
Search results promising an “original” download, APK, cracked build, unlimited version, or no-watermark copy should be treated as a warning sign. Unverified downloads can be unrelated clones, malware, or payment and credential traps. A site using HTTPS only encrypts a connection; it does not prove the operator is legitimate, that uploads are deleted, or that an installer is safe. Do not install unknown executables, APKs, browser extensions, or repackaged apps.

Check what happens to uploaded images
Before uploading any identifiable photo to an AI service, look for specific, current answers about retention, training use, third-party processing, deletion, public sharing defaults, moderation review, and account closure. A “private” library label is not by itself a promise that an image is never retained, reviewed, or processed by vendors. If a DeepNude-branded service does not clearly identify its operator and explain these practices, do not upload personal or identifiable images.
For SeaArt, review the current privacy policy and terms before using real-person images. Distinguish public community posts from account libraries and processing uploads; do not assume they have identical visibility or retention rules.
Quality and commercial-use limits
Generated images are predictions, not recovered facts
Simulated “undressing” can invent anatomy and other details. Generated images may contain incorrect proportions, lighting, shadows, limbs, jewelry, tattoos, scars, clothing remnants, background seams, or identity details. A convincing appearance does not make the depicted details real.
Rank #4
SeaArt output quality likewise depends on the selected model, prompt, reference image, settings, and resolution. There is no sound basis here for a universal claim that it is more realistic than DeepNude, and realism is not an appropriate measure for nonconsensual imagery.
Commercial rights require more than a platform-level claim
SeaArt’s guide discusses ownership of content users create and says commercial use of other users’ work may require permission. Terms, premium-use provisions, model or LoRA licenses, source-image rights, publicity rights, and third-party copyrights can all matter. Before using output in business work, check the exact model, LoRA, input image, and applicable license rather than relying only on a headline subscription description.
SeaArt credits and cost predictability
SeaArt uses plans and a combination of credits and stamina-like usage. Its official mall says stamina replenishes daily and describes credit expiration rules: purchased credits acquired on or after April 1, 2026 are described as valid for two years, while some event credits have different validity periods. These are terms, not a permanent price guarantee; verify the checkout screen for current regional pricing, tax, promotion, and account-specific conditions: SeaArt official mall.

Consent, safety, and U.S. law
Nonconsensual intimate imagery can cause real harm
Calling an image “fake” does not make it harmless. AI-generated or digitally altered intimate imagery can be used for harassment, extortion, reputational damage, or other abuse. The FTC’s consumer guidance addresses image-based abuse involving real, altered, and AI-generated intimate images: FTC guidance on image-based abuse.
What the TAKE IT DOWN Act does
In the United States, the TAKE IT DOWN Act addresses specified nonconsensual intimate visual depictions, including certain digitally created or altered images. Covered platforms must provide a notice-and-removal process and remove qualifying material, including known identical copies, within 48 hours after a valid request. FTC enforcement of the relevant platform obligations began May 19, 2026. See the FTC compliance guidance and FTC enforcement announcement.
This is not a blanket rule that every AI-generated nude image is unlawful in every circumstance. The legal analysis depends on factors such as consent, who is depicted, the content and intent, publication, platform status, and jurisdiction; state laws may add different restrictions. Images involving minors raise especially serious child-safety and criminal-law concerns. This is general information, not legal advice.
If someone has made or shared an intimate image of you
- Preserve URLs, account names, dates, screenshots, and messages. Avoid downloading or redistributing the image unnecessarily.
- Do not pay an extortionist or send additional images.
- Report the content to the hosting service and use its nonconsensual-intimate-image removal process.
- If a covered platform does not act on a valid request, consult the FTC’s TAKE IT DOWN Act guidance.
- Contact law enforcement if there are threats, extortion, stalking, or exploitation involving a minor; consider support from a qualified victim-advocacy organization.
How to choose a tool for legitimate creative work
- General illustration, concepts, or character art: SeaArt may be relevant if its current rules, models, and privacy terms fit the project.
- Professional editing: Evaluate a mainstream editing workflow for the needed controls, licensing, and business requirements.
- Consensual adult creative work: Confirm the platform’s current content rules, age requirements, privacy practices, and licensing before using it.
- Business use: Check rights for the output, model, LoRA, source image, and likeness; also review retention and deletion terms.
For any platform, verify who operates it, whether terms and a privacy policy are current, how billing and cancellation work, how uploads can be deleted, and where abuse can be reported. Do not treat a mature-content label, app rating, or community example as permission to violate platform rules or another person’s rights.
