It was a two-day B2B event for Europe’s data-centre industry, built around designing, building and operating sustainable data centres for the AI age. The dates have passed, so this report covers what the organizer published about the 2026 edition. It is not a registration guide.
One limit applies throughout. This report relies on DCD’s own pre-event material: the event overview, agenda, experience page and FAQ. It does not rely on audited attendance data, post-event results or independent coverage of the sessions. Figures and speaker names are therefore the organizer’s claims and listings.

How big was it? The organizer’s figures
DCD advertised the following for the event:
- 5,000+ senior leaders working on Europe’s largest data-centre projects
- 250+ leading experts
- 150+ exhibitors
These are promotional figures from the organizer. They are not verified turnout, and the event pages give no publication year for them. Read them as the scale DCD aimed to present, not as a count of who actually attended.

DCD’s official agenda spread across ten broad areas:
#1 Best Overall
- Cooling
- Mission-critical power
- Construction
- Management and operations
- Investment and markets
- Compute, storage and networking
- Edge infrastructure and inference
- Cloud and hybrid systems
- Telecoms and connectivity
- Energy and sustainability
Example programme topics
- European market and location strategy
- Data-centre power and energy storage
- Cooling for high-density and AI workloads
- Project delivery and due diligence
- AI-assisted site selection
These are scheduled topics, not conclusions the event reached. The mix is useful as a signal of what the industry treats as pressing. Power supply, thermal management for dense AI hardware and siting sit next to the commercial questions of investment and delivery risk.
Named speakers
The event overview listed these people among its speakers:
Rank #2
- Penny Madsen, Vice President – Strategy Research, STACK Infrastructure
- Adrian Del Maestro, Vice President, Global Energy Markets, AECOM
- Manuel Greisinger, General Manager, Google Distributed Cloud, EMEA
- Bruce Stephenson, Chief Development Officer, HSCALE
- Michael McVitie, Construction Director – UK & Ireland, Digital Realty
These are scheduled-speaker listings. They do not confirm that any individual appeared or said anything in particular. The one testimonial on the overview page is anonymous, credited only to a “Data Center Project Architect | AWS”, so it is not attributed to a named person here.

Formats and the show-floor offer
DCD described a mix of formats:
- Panels and debates
- Interactive workshops
- Closed-door lunch briefings
- Supplier conversations and technology demonstrations
- Technical showcase sessions
Its Connect Experience page said product experts would be on hand for questions and procurement challenges. It also said the show floor would give attendees access to suppliers and product-development teams. This is the organizer’s stated offer. The pages do not show how it worked in practice.
Rank #3
Passes, badges and partner logistics
DCD’s FAQ described the operational flow. Registered attendees received event-app login details, and the app’s badge QR code was scanned at badge collection to print a physical badge. Partner pass instructions came through an official onboarding email. Partner materials covered pass allocation, exhibition space, stand build and logistics. The FAQ also gave companies a route to raise sponsorship and event-partner enquiries. This describes how the 2026 event ran. It is not current guidance for anyone trying to join now.

The published material gives no comparable data on competing events, so this report does not rank DCD against them. If you are choosing between industry events, the 2026 edition suggests these questions:
Quick Recap
Best Value
- Audience and seniority: who is the event aimed at, and is that claim backed by anything other than the organizer’s own number?
- Co-located formats: does it bundle adjacent events, as DCD did with its investment forum and compute show?
- Agenda emphasis: how are power, cooling, construction, investment and operations weighted for your role?
- Supplier access: are there demonstrations and direct access to product teams?
- Open versus invite-only: how much of the value sits in closed-door briefings you must be invited to?
What to take from it
- DCD Connect London 2026 took place 16–17 September at the Business Design Centre and has finished.
- Its programme tied AI-era demand to physical constraints: power, cooling, sites, construction and capital.
- The 5,000+, 250+ and 150+ figures are advertised, not audited.
- Speaker names are listings. Treat any claim about what was said as unconfirmed until you see session recordings or reports from attendees.
