Amazon’s official sale overview says the 2026 Great Indian Festival went live to all customers at midnight on October 8, 2026. Offers span smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home, kitchen and everyday essentials. If October 8 counts as day 1, day 2 is October 9, 2026. Amazon’s launch announcement describes the event as bringing customers, sellers and brands together for “the country’s biggest shopping celebration.” That is the company’s own description of its event, not independent market analysis.

Payment offers and how they change the price
Amazon lists several conditional offers on top of the listed price. Each one depends on your payment method, account or trade-in, so none should be assumed to apply to every item or every buyer.

How to check a day-2 deal in five steps
- Confirm the exact configuration. Note the model, storage, colour, size or variant. A discount on one variant does not carry over to another.
- Read the reference price. Find the “M.R.P.” or original price shown on the listing. A high reference price only shows the seller’s stated baseline, not that the item recently sold at that level.
- Check the price history. Amazon says its price-history view can cover one month to one year, and that Rufus, its shopping assistant, can compare products, set deal alerts and show price history. If history is short or missing for a configuration, judge the discount cautiously.
- Apply only the offers you qualify for. Add the item to your cart, select each payment or exchange option in turn, and record the final payable amount next to the listed price.
- Check the seller, warranty and return terms. Confirm whether Amazon or a third-party seller fulfils the order, and read the warranty and return conditions before you place it.
Comparing two or more deals
When two listings look similar, put them side by side using the same checks. A lower headline price is not a better deal if the configuration, seller or warranty differs.

Smartphone deals on day 2
Smartphones are the most visible category in Amazon’s sale coverage. Its smartphone-focused article names deals on phones and accessories, including the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, iPhone 16 and OnePlus Nord 6. Those names confirm that phones are part of the sale, but they do not show which models or prices appear on any particular day-2 listing. For phones, the storage variant, the seller and the exchange terms usually matter more than the headline discount.

When a deal is worth buying
- The final payable price, with the offers you qualify for, is below the lowest price shown in the price history for the same configuration.
- The configuration matches what you actually need.
- The seller, warranty and return terms are clear on the listing.
- You would buy the item at that final price even without the headline discount.
If any of these fails, wait, set a deal alert, or look at a different configuration.
