CyberSushi is scheduled to release on Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 13, 2026. It is a fast arcade roguelite about cybernetic sushi heroes, where players tap to fly, chain tokens, trigger screen-clearing WASABI and choose run upgrades. At the time Steam’s listing was captured, it still said the game was not yet available and was expected to unlock in about two hours, so the announced date does not by itself confirm that the game is live now.
What kind of game is CyberSushi?
Developer Ezza Games describes CyberSushi as a neon arcade roguelite set amid collapsing cyberpunk dimensions. Its story begins with the Bento Gates and a multiverse fracture; Yume and the Rice Cores are part of that setting, while Mochi is the first hero to wake. The practical focus is quick movement, timing and building a stronger loadout over successive runs.

How a run works
Players tap to fly, thread gaps and chain tokens. Keeping a streak going builds WASABI, which the official site describes as a screen-clearing payoff. Filling Sushi Surge presents a choice of one of three Sushi Hacks, which are added to the run’s Hackware loadout.

The site names three settings—Lost Horizons, Neo City and Subway Hackers. It also describes the Maw Engine as a ghost-train chase that disables Hackware and drives the player toward a portal. Between runs, players can upgrade and compete on all-time leaderboards.

Heroes and progression
Players begin with Mochi and can pull additional heroes from the Vendo. Ezza Games says each CyberSushi has its own perk; the named roster includes Kiki, Aki, Mika, Taro, Tobi, Yumi and launch character Daigo. The developer presents the heroes and their abilities as part of the game’s progression, not as separate editions.
Is CyberSushi out on Steam today?
Ezza Games announced October 13, 2026 as the release date for both Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Steam lists the same date. However, Steam’s listing snapshot still displayed “This game is not yet available on Steam” and an estimate that it would unlock in approximately two hours. That is a time-specific storefront notice, not confirmation of its current availability. Check the live store page for the present status. Steam describes it as a focused slice featuring the chain, Sushi Surge and Sushi Hacks loop, making it a way to sample the central mechanics before committing to the full game. Daigo’s launch event
Ezza Games advertises Daigo’s Exclusive Rift as running from October 13 through November 24, 2026, with the Rift opening at 00:00 UTC on October 13. The developer calls Daigo a legendary “Guardian Roll” and the launch-exclusive hero. Its site says players can earn Signal tickets by playing and use them to pull Daigo from the Vendo. These are developer-described in-game event details; check the game or official site for current event availability.
