The official announcement says The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered became available on September 29, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and as a native Nintendo Switch 2 version. “Qualifying” is important. Do not assume that every copy, store account, region, or platform entitlement transfers identically. Before buying again, open the listing for your exact storefront and check whether your existing ownership qualifies for the free upgrade.
