That percentage and those market levels are figures reported by the article, not independently validated live measurements.

DWF Labs Research had reported a crossing above $3 trillion in a September 28 note, describing it as the first since January 29. Since both sources report crossings on different dates, “just crossed” should be read as a time-specific headline rather than a single uncontested milestone. A market-cap threshold alone cannot show whether prices will keep rising or whether a bull market is underway.

The article also reports that SOL rose 50% over three months and associates that timing with an SEC order it calls an “innovation exemption,” dated September 17. That is the author’s explanation, not established evidence that the order caused the price increase. The order and its legal implications should be checked against the regulator’s own materials before relying on that interpretation. Past price movement does not establish future performance.

Those figures and mechanics are attributed claims in the article, not independently verified measurements here. Even if the reported mechanism operates as described, its investment case depends on the platform continuing to attract trading activity and on the fee allocation remaining in effect. Derivatives trading and token-linked buybacks do not remove the risk of sharp price declines.
Zcash: privacy and a capped supply
The article argues that Zcash could appeal to buyers interested in privacy-focused transactions and limited issuance. It cites a maximum supply of 21 million ZEC and estimates that the next halving will occur on November 24, 2028, reducing the block reward from 1.56 ZEC to 0.78 ZEC. These protocol figures are as reported by the article and should be confirmed against current primary Zcash documentation.

A capped supply does not create demand by itself, and a scheduled reduction in new issuance does not guarantee a higher price. The article’s privacy-and-scarcity case remains an investment thesis, exposed to market volatility as well as the ability of the network to sustain relevant use.
How to read the three ideas as an investor
The article explicitly says, “It only makes sense to buy these coins if your portfolio already has Bitcoin and Ethereum.” That is Carchidi’s portfolio caveat, not a universal investing rule. Whether any of these assets belongs in a portfolio depends on an investor’s circumstances, risk tolerance, and ability to absorb losses.
