To match the published minimum requirements for Croc: Legend of the Gobbos on PC, check that your computer runs Windows 10, has 16 GB of RAM and at least 35 GB of free storage. GOG also specifies an Intel Core i5 at 1.8 GHz and DirectX 12-compatible 3D graphics. Steam’s listing does not provide CPU or graphics minimums, so the two stores’ specifications should not be treated as interchangeable.

How to check whether your PC matches
- Check Windows: Open Settings > System > About and look under Windows specifications. The published minimum is Windows 10; Steam also specifies a 64-bit operating system.
- Check installed memory: On the same About page, look for Installed RAM. Both stores list 16 GB.
- Check free storage: Open File Explorer > This PC and check the available space on the drive where you plan to install the game. Each listing specifies 35 GB available.
- Check the CPU and graphics against the store you will use: GOG lists an Intel Core i5 1.8 GHz and DirectX 12-compatible 3D graphics. Steam’s retrieved requirements do not state a CPU model or graphics minimum, so do not assume GOG’s details are Steam’s published requirements.
If a PC meets a store’s stated minimums, it matches that listing’s baseline. Neither listing reports measured frame rates, target resolution, or performance on specific hardware; meeting the minimum is not a guarantee of a particular gameplay experience.
What the two editions tell you
The clearest comparison supported by the listings is how much requirement detail each store publishes and whether the classic game is included:

- Steam: Its current product listing presents the remaster and its minimum requirements, but the retrieved listing does not provide CPU or graphics minimums or make the same classic-game bundle claim as GOG.
- GOG Platinum Edition: It publishes CPU and graphics details and says the classic version is automatically added to the buyer’s library with the remaster.
These listing differences do not establish differences in performance, updates, DRM, or customer support. Steam describes the remaster as an updated version of the 1997 game, with enhanced HD graphics, modern control mechanics, an updated camera, retro video modes, and 45 levels across five worlds. A minimum specification is a published compatibility baseline, not a benchmark. The available store information does not establish a guaranteed frame rate, resolution, or universal compatibility across PCs that meet the listed figures. It also does not show that a particular upgrade or peripheral is necessary. Check the listing for the edition you intend to buy, and avoid purchasing hardware solely because a minimum-requirements page exists.
