I couldn’t verify any working Crimson Desert cheat codes or a code-entry system. For legitimate progression, the useful options are its trading economy and skill-reset systems—but the reset instructions changed after launch, so check which game version you are playing.
Are there cheat codes for Crimson Desert?
No official cheat-code list or reliable code-entry instructions were located. That does not prove that no hidden command exists, but there is no verified code to recommend. Be wary of lists that do not identify a working build or that confuse Crimson Desert with Pearl Abyss’s separate game Black Desert.

How can you make money in Crimson Desert?
Trading is one supported avenue to explore. GamesRadar reported on August 1, 2026, that an economy update added 133 trading posts and changed trade-goods prices. Its report says harder-to-reach trading wagons offered higher prices for the same goods, while royal posts offered four times their former price. These are dated, patch-sensitive details, not a guaranteed current route or silver-per-hour figure.
To use that information, compare the price offered for a good at the locations available to you and weigh any higher offer against the extra travel. The report does not establish which goods or route currently produce the most silver, and it does not verify that any money exploit works.

How do you reset skills?
Launch-era Faded Abyss Artifact instructions
A GameSpot guide published March 19, 2026, describes using a Faded Abyss Artifact to reset the skill tree. Its launch-era instructions are to open the Skills menu and hold the reset control: F on keyboard, X on Xbox, or Square on PlayStation. Item behavior and controls may differ in a later build, so check the current in-game menu before relying on those directions.
What changed in version 2.00.00
The version 2.00.00 notes reproduced on the official Crimson Desert Steam Community news page describe a different, update-specific set of progression changes:

- Progression could be reset individually for each character, with that character’s spent Abyss Links refunded.
- On the first launch after installing the update, existing skill progression was reset and previously used resources were refunded.
- After completing all main quests, starting a new game could carry over Abyss Links and other in-game currency from an existing save.
The first-launch reset is tied to version 2.00.00; it is not a promise that every later update will reset skills or issue another refund. For your current character and build, use the reset option shown in the game and confirm the displayed cost or refund before proceeding.
