Yes, many Samsung Galaxy phones can send the same music to two Bluetooth speakers at once. You pair both speakers with the phone, then select both as outputs in the Media panel of Quick Settings. Whether your phone offers this depends on its model and software version, so check the steps below against your own menus.
What you need before you start
- A Galaxy phone with Dual Audio in its Media panel. Samsung says menus vary by model and software version, and some features appear only on certain models. Samsung Support’s regional audio guidance (updated April 28, 2026) makes the same point.
- Two Bluetooth speakers that accept Media audio. Samsung’s Galaxy S9+ user manual states that Bluetooth audio devices must support Media audio. Speakers that only handle calls or basic connections will not show up as a second media output.
- Both speakers charged and near the phone. Pairing is far more reliable when each speaker is in range during setup.
Pair both speakers and select them as outputs
- Put the first speaker into pairing mode. The method is speaker-specific. Samsung India’s guide (updated September 12, 2024) notes that this commonly means holding the power button until the LED flashes; check your speaker’s manual if it differs.
- Pair it on the phone. Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth, then tap the speaker’s name under available devices.
- Repeat for the second speaker. Put it into pairing mode and pair it the same way. Both speakers should now show as connected.
- Open the Media panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings, then tap Media or Media output. The label depends on software version and region.
- Select both speakers. Tap the circle or checkmark beside each speaker so both are selected. Start or resume playback in your music app. Both speakers should now play the same audio.
- Adjust volume per speaker. Samsung Support’s U.S. guide says the Media panel lets you change each speaker’s volume individually, as well as with the phone’s volume keys.
The older Android 9 path
On phones running Android 9 with One UI 1, Samsung’s U.S. instructions use a different route: Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > More options > Advanced > Dual audio. If the phone asks, turn off Media volume sync. This path is specific to that older interface, so do not rely on it for newer One UI versions.

If the second speaker does not appear
- Confirm both speakers are paired and connected under Settings > Connections > Bluetooth before you open the Media panel.
- Look for the Media control. Samsung India’s guide says that if it is missing, you should enable Show Devices and Media buttons in the Quick panel layout settings. The menu name and location can vary by version.
- Check Bluetooth media support on both speakers. A speaker that does not accept Media audio will not appear as a usable output, even if it pairs successfully.
- Check the Bluetooth version. Samsung India’s guide includes a Bluetooth version caveat for this feature, so compare your speakers’ Bluetooth specifications with the phone’s before buying anything new.
- Check the phone’s model and software. If the feature is absent on your phone, Samsung’s support guidance treats missing audio features as a prompt to check compatibility for that model.
- Restart the phone and reconnect both speakers. This is one of the troubleshooting steps Samsung Support publishes.
What the two-speaker setup does and does not do
The two-device limit
Samsung Support’s U.S. guide states the limit directly: “Connecting a third Bluetooth device will disconnect one of the paired devices due to the two-device limit.” If you add a third Bluetooth device, the phone drops one of the two you selected. Reconnect the speaker you want and reselect it in the Media panel.

Stereo and synchronization
Dual Audio sends the same media to both speakers. Samsung’s guidance does not say that the phone assigns left and right channels, and it does not promise that two separate speakers stay perfectly in sync or report any latency figure. Treat the result as simultaneous playback, not a true stereo pair.

If true stereo or tight synchronization is your goal, check whether your speaker maker offers its own multi-speaker pairing mode and what models it supports. Samsung’s material does not cover those features or their compatibility.
Volume
Each speaker keeps its own volume slider in the Media panel, so one speaker may need to be louder than the other to balance the sound. Start with both at a moderate level and adjust from there.

Menu names change with One UI version and region, so if a label differs on your phone, look for the one with the same function.
