Covenant Eyes describes different monitoring on Android and iPhone or iPad: Android uses device-wide screenshots across most apps and browsers, while iPhone and iPad use screenshots in Safari and domain monitoring for app traffic. A company blog named Pinterest in an Android app list in 2018, but that historical mention does not verify how the Pinterest app is monitored today.
What “monitoring Pinterest” means
Covenant Eyes documents screen capture and, on iPhone and iPad, logging of internet domains accessed on the device. Those descriptions do not mean the service accesses a Pinterest account or provides a complete record of activity inside it. The current documentation reviewed does not specify exactly what it captures in the Pinterest app by operating system, app version, or configuration.

A Covenant Eyes blog post historically included Pinterest in a list of Android apps it said it monitored. That post was updated in 2018, so it is evidence of what the company said at that time—not confirmation of present-day Pinterest app support. It cannot settle current behavior across newer app versions, devices, or settings. See the historical company blog post.

What screenshots and reports may show
Covenant Eyes says Screen Accountability randomly captures screenshots and checks them for explicit content. Its support article says the app captures a screenshot on-device at least once per minute, analyzes it, shrinks and blurs it, then transfers the modified image to its database. The privacy policy adds that screenshots are rated on-device and transmitted in encrypted, reduced, blurred form; non-blurred images are not transmitted unless the user specifically agrees. Blurring makes text illegible in many, but not all, cases. Screenshots are not kept in the Victory app for more than 14 days.
An ally’s Activity Feed may include Recap, Highlighted, and Explicit Screenshots. Images may show the device name, app or program name, and timestamp; the support page says they remain in the feed for up to 14 days, subject to the rules for each screenshot type. This is selected, processed material—not a full, readable Pinterest feed. The details are in Covenant Eyes’ monitoring support article and privacy policy.

The company’s terms say monitored device use may include screen images, network activity, times of use, application names, and window titles. Report labels such as “Concerning Screenshot,” “Unmonitored Screen Activity,” “No Concerns,” “Review Recommended,” and “Device Activity Missing” describe collected data; they do not establish a person’s intent or a behavior pattern. How to get a device-specific answer
- Identify the platform and method. Note whether Pinterest is used in its app or in a browser, and whether the device is Android or iPhone/iPad.
- Check the current platform guidance. Use Covenant Eyes’ Android or iPhone/iPad instructions for the installed Victory Shield version.
- Ask Covenant Eyes support about the exact setup. Provide the device, operating system, Victory Shield version, and whether Pinterest is used in the app or browser. Ask what activity the ally report can show for that configuration; the public materials do not answer this Pinterest-specific question.
