Pocket Gamer presents its highest-ranked Cookies as broadly useful for Story stages and potentially helpful in Raids. It also describes A-tier Cookies as potentially situational or more useful when a Raid calls for them. Use the list to shortlist options, then consider what your next activity actually requires.
#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
Start with the mode and objective
A Cookie’s overall tier can hide a standout use. GingerBrave is in C overall, but Pocket Gamer says his double dash makes him strong for “Challenge! Time Attack!” Do not treat a low general placement as proof that a Cookie has no place in a specific challenge.
Match roles, elements, and team needs
Consider how a Cookie contributes alongside the rest of your team: damage, tagging or debuff utility, and support all matter. Element-focused teams and bosses can also make a specialist worthwhile outside its overall tier. Pocket Gamer, for example, describes Gumball as useful in Water Raids alongside Cream Soda, despite weaker Story Mode utility.
Rank #2
- MODERNIZED DESIGN — Experience the modernized design of the XBOX Wireless Controller with sculpted surfaces and updated geometry that enhances comfort and control during long gaming sessions.

- SHARE BUTTON: Seamlessly capture and share content such as screenshots, recordings, and more with the new Share button.
- VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY — Connect via USB-C for plug-and-play on console and PC, or quickly pair and switch between supported devices with XBOX Wireless and Bluetooth support.
- BUILT-IN AUDIO SUPPORT — Plug in compatible headsets using the 3.5mm audio jack for direct voice chat and immersive in-game sound.
Account for build investment and survival
Level, Artifact, equipment, promotion, signature-card effects, and skill use can affect practical value. As Pocket Gamer author Cristina Mesesan put it in the October 6, 2026 update: “However, when you form a team, all that matters is the synergy, level, Artifact, and, of course, equipment.” A damage-focused choice may also need protection or healing if it cannot stay alive; the guide notes Rye’s low HP and recommends having a healer available.
What selected Cookies bring to a team
These examples explain why the guide rates several Cookies highly; they are not universal team-building prescriptions.
Rank #3
- With broad game support, the Logitech Gamepad F310 works with old standbys to today's biggest titles, so it's easy to set up and use with your favorite games.
- Profiler software allows the gamepad to be programmed to perform keyboard and mouse commands for games without gamepad support.* * Requires software installation.
- A familiar control layout that doesn't require a learning curve to be able to use, with all the same buttons as on an Xbox 360.
- The unique floating D-pad rests on four switches-instead of a single pivot point-making it responsive to quick changes in direction.
- The six-foot cord lets you lean back and play a comfortable distance from your PC monitor.
Peach Cookie: healing and an attack buff
Pocket Gamer describes Peach as a Fire Support/Assist. Her attacks spawn peach dumplings that heal, while her Ultimate boosts allies’ ATK.
Honeybear Cookie: shields and damage support
Honeybear is an Earth Support/Assist whose Special grants allies a barrier with Honey Wave. His Ultimate adds Sticky Honey, which increases the damage enemies take after repeated hits, and grants shields.
Cream Soda Cookie: repeatable Water attacks
The guide describes Cream Soda as a Water Fighter/Slash whose Special can be cast three times and attacks in a cone.
Rank #4

Rye Cookie: single-target damage with a survival trade-off
Rye is a Wind ranged Fighter with strong single-target damage. The guide recommends Crit and Crit DMG investment and pairing her with a healer because of her low HP.

Why tier lists can disagree
Tier lists are dated judgments, not an objective consensus. Mobi.gg’s July 28, 2026 ranking, for example, puts Ninja and Angel in S, while Pocket Gamer’s October 6 list puts both in C. That disagreement does not prove either publisher right or wrong; it shows why version, modes, roster, and ranking assumptions matter. A June 2026 Reddit community post likewise reflects users’ assessments of potential, performance, and viability, not a measured character-strength study.
For a broader game overview, Apple’s US App Store listing describes the game as a free action game with in-app purchases, cooperative 3D adventure and boss battles, with equipment earned through stage clears. Equipment and Artifacts discussed in tier guides are in-game progression items.
