Where to find the Mysterious Dog in Downtown
Use the Downtown map and look for the marker labeled “DOG” or “Location of the Mysterious Dog.” It leads to a rooftop terrace in the southwestern part of the district, where the dog is beside her bed and outdoor furniture. How to find and return the plush
- Interact with the dog. Speak to her or use the interaction prompt beside the bed. The encounter indicates she wants a toy.
- Search the neighboring rooftops. The plush is on a nearby, lower or adjacent roof. Guides disagree about its exact compass direction, so use the DOG marker to orient yourself and check the connected rooftops rather than following a single directional description. - Pick up the plush and take it back. Return to the terrace and use the drop-object interaction at the dog’s bed.
- Interact with the dog again. After returning the toy, talk to her once more. The side-story notification should appear; check the Side Stories section of the Quest Log.
What the plush looks like and what unlocks
The title of some walkthroughs describes the item as a green plush, but guides do not agree on its color: other descriptions call it blue or teal, including a dragon. Treat color as a loose visual cue, not a confirmed identifier. The reliable clues are the nearby rooftop location and the return-to-bed interaction.
