Find Factory Station in northern Central, near the Patterned Factory. Collect three Calibration Units—one from the open shop above the stairs, one from a rail-level side area, and one from the parked train’s roof. Put them on the three yellow floor pads aligned with the Tuning Device, then pull its lever. After the cutscene, look for the objective “Head to the Surface” as the completion cue.
Where to find Factory Station
Open the map and head to the Factory Station marker in the northern industrial area of Central, near the Patterned Factory. One walkthrough places it northwest of the Patterned Factory; use the station marker to confirm the route rather than relying on that directional description. Where to find all three power units
Search these three areas inside the station. The rail-level unit’s precise position is described differently across walkthroughs, so check the side areas at track level rather than assuming a particular compass direction.
- Open shop above the stairs: Take the unit from the shop and carry it to the yellow pad at the foot of the stairs.
- Rail-level side area: Search the alcove off the tracks and the area behind the southern stairs for the second unit. Walkthroughs describe this local position differently.
- Parked train: Climb onto the train and retrieve the third unit from its roof.

Which yellow pads count?
Use the three yellow pads that form a straight line with the Tuning Device—not any three yellow pads in the room. Stand behind the device and look along its central axis to identify the aligned row. The first pad is at the bottom of the stairs; the other two are between it and the device, according to the station walkthroughs from Control Resonant Game and Neoseeker. Place one unit on each of those three pads.

Once all three units are on the aligned pads, use the lever on the Tuning Device console. The reroute sequence triggers a cutscene. When it ends, the reported completion cue is a change in the objective to “Head to the Surface,” as described by NerdsChalk and the other walkthroughs linked above.
