Follow the route in that order through Fault, then return to The Spire to reach Halfway Trail. The later route passes a cable car on the way to Research Stations and Deepest Underpass.

How to unlock and use Fast Travel Doors
Approach a door and interact with it once to make it available. According to PowerPyx’s travel rules, Fast Travel is door-to-door: use an unlocked door to travel to another unlocked door. It is not a system for selecting any location from the map.
The route guide says door travel becomes usable during the main quest Welcome to Manhattan. Complete that quest before relying on the Spire-to-Spire shortcut described below. The Underpass itself is reached during Recursions and Iterations, according to PowerPyx’s Underpass entry guide.

Route to each Underpass door
1. Sinkhole
Start beside the Sinkhole door in the courtyard. Face the open stairwell pit, descend through the lit passage and stairs, and continue until you reach the cavern with suspended concrete blocks.
2. The Spire
From the cavern viewpoint, cross the suspended platforms and continue through the interior rooms. The route is not a direct crossing from the starting viewpoint: follow the platforms, rooms, stacked blocks, and rooftop path until you reach the red-carpeted Fast Travel Door.

3. Fault at Tubes Island
From The Spire, cross the concrete pillars toward Tubes Island and the structure marked by exposed orange pipes. The Fault door stands on an elevated circular platform with red carpet.
This door’s name is Fault. It is a location on the Underpass door route, not the separate Underpass Fault quest.

4. Return to The Spire, then find Halfway Trail
After activating Fault, return to The Spire either by selecting it from the Fast Travel menu or by backtracking across the platforms. The menu shortcut depends on door travel being available and The Spire having been activated.
From The Spire, head south across the concrete pillars. Climb the wall using floating blocks and ledges, enter the red-carpeted interior passage, and continue to the rooftop door.

5. Research Stations
From Halfway Trail, turn toward the distant opening and climb the orange-trimmed structure. Continue through the gravity-shifting rooms and offices toward the cable-car station. Climb above the car to reach the rooftop door named Research Stations.
6. Deepest Underpass
At the cable-car station, call the car with the yellow button, board it, operate its lever, and cross the chasm. Continue through the mossy cavern and the office-and-duct route. Pass through the gravity-shifting upper rooms and reach the raised platform with the Deepest Underpass door.

The route guide also says story progress can bring you to this final door if the cable-car route is unavailable. Its directions are a guide-reported route, not an independently verified gameplay test.

No. The available progression guide ties Reach to the separate Underpass Fault quest, not to the entire six-door list. That guide reports that Reach is gained from Subway Fault at Railyard Street Station in the Evacuation Zone, and that Underpass Fault gates The House in Distress. See the guide’s Control Resonant progression walkthrough for that quest chain.
Keep the names distinct: the Fault Fast Travel Door is reached at Tubes Island, while Underpass Fault is a quest. The quest’s reported Reach requirement should not be treated as a requirement for activating every Underpass door.
