Overview

Webex Experience Management is a cloud customer-experience platform for mapping journeys, collecting feedback, and analyzing customer sentiment. It is best suited to organizations building customer experience programs around Cisco Contact Center. Its analytics and follow-up capabilities are broad, but buyers should weigh response limits and Cisco’s notice that standalone customers have no direct replacement.

Key features

Journey maps and role-based dashboards bring measures such as Net Promoter Score and Customer Satisfaction into view across touchpoints before, during, and after contact-center interactions. That makes the platform useful for teams trying to connect survey results to specific parts of a customer journey rather than treating scores as isolated totals.

Feedback can arrive through email or SMS links, email embeds, website tabs, QR codes, the CEM inbox, and interactive voice response. Cisco Contact Center integration lets agents and supervisors use customer insights during service. Cisco also documents post-call surveys via IVR, SMS, or email, but surveys in the described Unified CCX setup are limited to inbound ICD calls—a meaningful coverage constraint for teams relying on that configuration.

Text analytics uses machine learning to surface word clouds, sentiment, and themes in unstructured feedback. Impact and path analysis, downloadable reports, and Predict-model forecasting add ways to examine how experience changes may affect outcomes and financial metrics. These tools make the higher maturity models more compelling for teams prepared to act on analysis, rather than just gather survey responses.

Real-time alerts, workflow notifications, tickets, and diagnostic surveys support closed-loop follow-up. Out-of-the-box data integrations include Freshdesk, Salesforce, Zendesk, Capillary, Gupshup, and Amazon S3. Security controls include two-factor authentication, single sign-on, PII redaction, password policies, and data-residency controls; Cisco says programs can operate from more than five global locations. The Insights Center also has iOS and Android apps for monitoring trends and helping frontline staff close the loop.

Pricing

Webex Experience Management is sold as a monthly packaged subscription with custom pricing; contact Cisco sales for a quote. The subscription offers Listen, Analyze, or Predict maturity models, with included users, response volumes, and channels varying by model. The published allowances are:

Listen: five CX lead users and up to 5,000 responses, plus 1,000 per named user.
Analyze: ten CX lead users and up to 25,000 responses, plus 100 per named user.
Predict: 25 CX lead users and up to 75,000 responses, plus 100 per named user.

The higher models raise the base response allowance and user count, with Predict adding predictive analysis. The subscription description also specifies overage charges, so teams should account for response volume when comparing models. Cisco offers unlimited 24x7 English technical support during the subscription, with response within 60 minutes for severity 1 and 2 cases and within one business day for lower-severity cases.

Platforms

The platform supports web, API, iOS, and Android. Cisco lists availability in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Bahrain, France, Germany, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Who it's for

Webex Experience Management fits organizations that need structured customer feedback, journey analytics, and follow-up integrated with Cisco Contact Center. Its role-based dashboards, security controls, mobile Insights Center, and data-residency options suit larger programs with operational and compliance needs. It is a less natural choice for smaller teams seeking a free entry tier or a standalone product with a clearly stated replacement path.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple survey channels and journey mapping connect feedback to customer touchpoints, not just survey scores.
Pro: Alerts, tickets, and diagnostic surveys give teams mechanisms to follow up on negative feedback.
Pro: Predictive analysis and impact analysis help teams assess possible effects of experience changes.
Pro: Enterprise controls include PII redaction, single sign-on, two-factor authentication, and data-residency options.
Con: Response allowances vary by model and overage charges apply, so high-volume programs need to manage usage.
Con: In the documented Unified CCX setup, post-call surveys cover inbound ICD calls only.
Con: Cisco’s end-of-sale notice says standalone Webex Experience Management customers have no direct replacement, a material concern for buyers planning long-term deployment.

Alternatives

Consider Qualtrics if an individual needs a free survey tier with one user, three active surveys, and 500 total responses. UXPressia is a better fit for teams focused on journey maps and personas: its free plan allows three of each, with email sharing for one user and PNG export. Choose QuestionPro for a free survey option with one user and up to 200 responses per survey, or its Advanced plan for 25,000 responses per survey at 99.00 USD per month, billed annually.

Alida may suit buyers seeking a subscription covering unlimited surveys, usability tests, and research activities without per-participant fees stated. Happ, omniXM, PeopleMetrics CEM Platform, and Chattermill are other paid options to compare; each uses custom pricing or requires a quote, with PeopleMetrics stating no caps on invitations, responses, or users. Browse the Customer Experience Management Software directory for more options.

Verdict

Webex Experience Management is a strong candidate for organizations that want customer journey analytics, multichannel feedback, and structured follow-up within a Cisco Contact Center program. Its breadth of analysis and enterprise controls are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if you need a free tier, predictable public pricing, or assurance of a direct replacement for the standalone product.
