Overview

The CRM shares the database used by Housing Market portal listings, so a portal enquiry arrives with the relevant property, buyer information and message already associated. Agents working across Housing Market's 34 markets avoid a separate inbox-to-spreadsheet transfer, and no portal integration or credential exchange is required. It runs in a browser, including on a phone, but there is no installable mobile app and no website included for publishing an agency's own site.

Housing Market CRM has operated since 2017 and is made by a Tampa, Florida company. Its freemium structure makes it accessible to a solo agent, but some important communication and acquisition functions are incomplete: two-way Gmail and Microsoft 365 mailbox synchronisation and in-CRM WhatsApp Business messaging are still being built. Seller-lead introductions are also not currently being sent.

Key features

Automated follow-up, lead routing and property matching address the repetitive work after an enquiry arrives. Email marketing is available on Pro, alongside property publishing and property management. The management tools record rent due and rent received; they do not take rent or process payments, so landlords needing transaction handling will need another service.

Business supports agencies moving from another CRM. It can import contacts, leads and deals from HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, CSV or Excel after a dry run, reducing the risk of loading a bad dataset. An open API and webhooks provide integration points for bespoke workflows. Property imports from CSV or XML feeds are not included in a plan and require the separate Importer add-on.

Security controls include HTTPS transport, server-side refusal checks, archived records after user deletion and manager-controlled deletion permissions. The company says customers own their leads, contacts and conversations and can export them. An in-app help chat is backed by a Help Center covering Housing Market Group products, portals and services.

Pricing

Plan	Price and allowance	What it means
Free	Free; 1 user	Core CRM with unlimited leads and contacts. It suits an individual who can work without publishing, campaigns or property management.
Pro	29.00 USD per month, billed monthly; 1 user	Adds everything in Free plus property publishing, email campaigns and property management. It is the practical solo-agent upgrade, but remains a single-seat plan.
Business	99.00 USD per month, billed monthly; up to 10 users; 5.00 USD per additional user per month	Adds team controls, API and webhooks, and CRM import. This is the agency tier for collaboration and migration.
Importer add-on	29.00 USD per month, bought on top of any plan	Provides CSV property imports and XML-feed property imports; it is never included in a base plan.

There is no expiring trial; the service says it has no trial that expires, so the free plan is the way to evaluate the core CRM. Paid subscriptions are monthly at the prices above. A planned seller-lead introduction is priced at 10 USD per introduction, non-refundable and non-exclusive, but those introductions are not being sent yet.

Platforms

Housing Market CRM is web-based and works through a browser on a phone, with nothing to install or update. The absence of a native mobile app matters to agents expecting push notifications or an app-store workflow. It also has no included website, so portal publishing should not be confused with supplying an agency website.

Who it's for

Choose it if your business already receives leads from Housing Market portals and wants those leads attached automatically to property and buyer records. The Free plan fits one user needing unlimited lead and contact storage; Pro fits a solo agent who needs campaigns, publishing or rent tracking; Business fits teams up to ten users that need permissions, imports or developer connectivity.

Look elsewhere if your workflow depends on two-way mailbox sync today, WhatsApp Business conversations inside the CRM, native mobile software, payment collection or a supplied website. The separate Importer charge also makes it less attractive when frequent feed-based property loading is central to operations.

Pros and cons

Pros

Portal enquiries arrive linked to their property and buyer, removing manual re-entry for Housing Market leads.
Unlimited leads and contacts on the free, one-user plan make a low-risk starting point for solo agents.
Business combines team controls, migration imports, an open API and webhooks in one tier.
Users retain ownership and export rights for leads, contacts and conversations.

Cons

No native mobile app or included website limits the product's front-end reach.
Mailbox synchronisation and WhatsApp Business messaging are unfinished, leaving gaps for communication-heavy teams.
Rent tracking stops short of collecting or processing payments.
CSV and XML property imports cost an additional 29.00 USD per month.

Alternatives

Real Estate CRM Software is the broader starting point when you want to compare a range of property-focused CRM products rather than commit to a portal-specific system.

LeadPixie is a better fit when iOS and Android apps matter, since it supports web, iOS and Android and has a free team plan for up to 10 users.

Propwise suits organisations wanting web, Android and iOS access plus a free workspace with core CRM, pipeline and limited market-intelligence tools.

Realatic is worth considering for a free forever plan with three users, 100 leads per month and one project.

eesy is an alternative for web-only teams that prefer a free one-agent plan capped at 50 contacts and a basic pipeline.

UplevelRE is aimed at buyers seeking an API-and-web platform with separate platform and marketing-suite plans.

Lone Wolf Engage is another web-based real-estate relationship option with a free trial.

Verna offers web access, a free one-user plan and a Professional plan with unlimited users when scale matters more than portal coupling.

CREBuilder is an alternative for commercial-real-estate workflows that start with a free one-user plan limited to three documents.

Verdict

Housing Market CRM is a strong choice for Housing Market portal agents who want enquiries connected to listings without manual copying, especially solo users who can start free or teams that need imports and API access. Its main reason to look elsewhere is the unfinished messaging stack and web-only delivery: agencies needing native mobile work, mailbox synchronisation, WhatsApp conversations or payment collection should choose a broader platform.
