Overview

Gratsio is built for beauty and wellness businesses that want clients to book at any hour through a marketplace, website or social links. It is most compelling for solo providers and smaller studios that can work within one staff seat, while teams needing full client records or back-office tools will need a higher plan.

Booking, payments and chat span several channels, but the plan ladder matters: the Free and Pro tiers keep staffing narrow, and full CRM begins at Studio. That makes Gratsio a better fit for businesses that can match its workflow and quotas than for those shopping on price alone.

Key features

Self-service booking is available around the clock, with real-time availability checked by staff, room and service. Clients can find booking through the web, marketplace and social links, which gives businesses multiple entry points; the value of the marketplace is greatest for providers who want that discovery route as well as direct bookings.

The AI receptionist can answer chats, book, reschedule and cancel appointments, then hand a conversation to a person with its thread intact. It can work on a salon website, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and SMS. That breadth may help businesses field inquiries across channels, although it does not replace a person when a conversation needs escalation.

Payments bring online prepayment, in-person card payments, gift cards, packages and memberships into one flow. Gratsio uses Helcim for card processing and Stripe for payouts. Connected domains receive automatically issued and renewed HTTPS certificates.

The searchable CRM holds client history, notes, preferences and spend, but full CRM is a Studio feature. Calendar sync works with Google, Apple iCloud, Microsoft 365, CalDAV and plain .ics links; it reads busy time without event titles, a useful privacy boundary when coordinating schedules. Studio and Chain also include payroll, bonuses, POS, accounting, inventory and price tags. Chain adds API access for custom integrations.

Gratsio says businesses own their client base and can search and export it. Bulk export and spreadsheet import are not yet combined into a single feature, so businesses moving substantial records may need extra work. The partner support center states that live chat replies within 5 minutes and email within a day.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free. It allows 3 listings/month, 10 product listings/month, 25 store products, 2 blog posts/month, one staff seat, a 10% service-booking commission and a 20% product-sales commission. That is a low-cost way for a solo provider to start, but the listing and sales caps and commissions make it a constrained ongoing storefront.

Pro costs 9.00 USD per month, billed Billed $108 for 12 months. It raises capacity to 10 listings/month, 100 product listings/month and 300 store products, adds 5 promotions/month and 4 blog posts/month, and removes the service-booking commission. Unlimited AI messages are included, but it still has one staff seat and does not include full CRM.

Studio costs 29.00 USD per month, billed Billed $348 for 12 months. Its 20 listings/month, 500 product listings/month, 2,500 store products, 10 promotions/month and 6 blog posts/month suit a larger solo operation with more storefront activity. It includes unlimited AI messages, full CRM and 0% service-booking commission; the listed plan details do not state a staff-seat allowance. Back-office tools are included from this tier.

Chain costs 149.00 USD per month, billed Billed $1,788 for 12 months. It allows up to 12 masters, 30 listings/month, 2,000 product listings/month, 10,000 store products, 15 promotions/month and 12 staff seats, with API access and 0% service-booking commission. It is the clearest fit for a multi-person operation needing integrations, though the jump from Studio is substantial.

Premium has custom pricing and includes Google reviews import, a before-and-after works gallery, and free custom site design on annual billing. A 7-day trial is offered. The listed paid-from price is $29/mo, despite Pro’s $9.00 per month price; readers comparing entry costs should account for the annual billing terms and the free plan’s commissions.

Platforms

Gratsio supports Android, iOS and web. Bookings, payments, memberships and client chat open in any browser without a download or update, which can suit businesses that want browser access across devices.

Who it's for

Gratsio targets beauty salons, barbershops, nail and spa studios, massage practices, medical spas, fitness businesses and other studios. It is best suited to providers that want round-the-clock booking and multi-channel chat, and can justify Studio for searchable client records and back-office functions. A solo provider testing the service can start free, but should weigh the commissions and caps; businesses needing multiple seats or API access should look at Chain.

Pros and cons

Pros: Clients can book through multiple channels at any hour, with availability checked across staff, rooms and services.
Pros: The AI receptionist handles routine appointment actions and supports several messaging channels, with a handoff to a person that preserves the thread.
Pros: Studio combines full CRM with payroll, POS, accounting and inventory tools, rather than keeping those functions separate.
Cons: Free charges commissions on service bookings and product sales, while its one-seat limit and monthly caps restrict growth.
Cons: Pro removes the service-booking commission but remains limited to one staff seat and lacks full CRM.
Cons: The published pricing has a mismatch: Pro is $9.00 per month with annual billing, while the paid-from price is $29/mo.
Cons: Bulk export and spreadsheet import are not yet a single feature, which can complicate larger data moves.

Verdict

Gratsio is a strong fit for beauty and wellness providers who want clients to book around the clock and want booking, messaging and payments in one service. Studio is the practical starting point for businesses that need full CRM and back-office tools; look elsewhere if a low monthly cost, multiple seats on an entry plan, or a simpler data migration matters more.
