Overview

Navigate360 brings student profiles, coordinated care, communications and analytics into a cloud service. Staff can manage cases and referrals, alerts, campaigns, appointments, events and faculty progress reports, while students have tools for conversations, surveys, advising, career support and raising concerns. The combination can help institutions connect outreach with follow-up, rather than relying on separate processes for each activity.

Institutions can use SIS data and optionally add LMS, Common App or custom data. Connections depend on industry-standard integration points, and data can be exported through APIs or regular bulk exports. This flexibility is useful for campuses linking student services to existing systems, though the range of data and workflows makes scope an important part of the buying decision.

Key features

Student support and outreach

Cases, referrals, alerts, two-way SMS, campaigns and appointments give staff multiple ways to coordinate outreach and respond to student needs. Faculty progress reports and self-reported concerns add perspectives from outside advising offices. The student engagement hub works across iPhone, Android and desktop app experiences, making it relevant to institutions that want students to interact with services as well as staff.

Analytics and AI

Dashboards, query and visualization tools, scheduled reports, intervention and population analytics, predictive models and data exports support both routine reporting and broader student-success analysis. Embedded AI can help staff prepare outreach, reports, meeting summaries and follow-ups; student-facing AI answers questions and routes students to support around the clock. These capabilities broaden the platform beyond case management, but institutions should assess them as part of the overall technology scope.

Deployment and support

Navigate360 is cloud-based SaaS hosted on AWS and accessed through web browsers. EAB says implementation teams can bring partners live in under 100 days. Partners receive a dedicated Strategic Leader, 24/7/365 technical support, implementation training, office hours and more than 350 self-paced training modules. EAB says it follows FERPA and GDPR practices and requirements; its Trust Center covers FERPA, GDPR, SOC 2 Type 2, CCPA and VPAT compliance areas.

Pricing

Navigate360

Navigate360 has custom pricing based on institutional enrollment and technology scope. The enterprise license covers all staff and students, with no per-user or per-office license fees. That structure may suit institutions coordinating services across departments, but it offers less predictability for a single office or a campus evaluating a small advising deployment. There is no separate cheaper plan or published trial to compare.

Degree audit, degree planning, early alerts, intervention workflows and a student planning portal are included capabilities. Institutions considering them should weigh the full enterprise scope and custom quote rather than expect a modular, per-seat purchase.

Platforms

Navigate360 supports web, Android and iOS, with API access. The student engagement hub is available through iPhone, Android and desktop app experiences; the wider service is browser-accessible. Mobile access is useful for student-facing engagement, while API support and exports matter to institutions connecting data workflows.

Who it's for

Navigate360 serves two-year and four-year public and private institutions, including community colleges, HBCUs, technical systems, graduate programs and online programs. It is best suited to institutions seeking coordinated recruitment, advising, retention and engagement workflows across staff and students. Schools with a limited advising requirement may find its broad enterprise model more than they need.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad student-success coverage: Staff workflows, student engagement, recruitment and retention sit within one platform.
Flexible data connections: Institutions can use SIS data, add other sources and export by API or bulk export.
Substantial partner support: Dedicated strategic leadership, round-the-clock technical support and extensive training accompany implementation.
Campus-wide licensing: The enterprise license avoids per-user and per-office fees as participation expands.

Cons

Custom pricing: Institutions must request a quote tied to enrollment and technology scope, so costs are harder to compare upfront.
Enterprise breadth: A school seeking only a focused advising tool may be taking on more platform than it needs.
Integration scope matters: Connections depend on compatible industry-standard connection points, and institutions may need to account for multiple data sources.

Alternatives

FlightPath is worth considering when a school wants a free option and can host it itself: its Community Edition costs 0.00 USD per free and requires a self-hosted web server, MySQL and PHP.
Ellucian Degree Works is another paid choice; its pricing is commercially confidential and a 2024 Ellucian document bases it on full-time equivalent students.
Civitas Advising is a paid alternative with annual subscription pricing by quote, scaled to institution size and scope.
ConexED Retain is another paid web-based option.
CoreCampus is a paid cloud platform with a monthly fee based on average annual FTE students.
Ellucian Advising is a paid web-based alternative.
Ellucian Banner Student is another paid web-based option.
Ellucian Smart Plan is a paid institutional academic planning and registration solution.

Verdict

Choose Navigate360 if your institution wants a shared platform for student-facing engagement, staff follow-up and student-success analytics, with campus-wide licensing rather than per-seat fees. Its coordinated workflows and broad support model are the main reasons to consider it. Look elsewhere if your need is limited to advising or you require a price that can be assessed without a custom institutional quote.
