Overview

Convin is a contact-center platform for teams that want to examine customer conversations and support agents while interactions are underway. It suits organizations with multilingual or varied-channel operations; its strongest case is the combination of live guidance and automated quality scoring, while custom pricing makes budgeting less straightforward.

It handles voice, video, and email, and supports analysis in more than 70 languages. Call recording, transcription, campaign tracking, and conversation intelligence broaden its reach beyond quality audits alone.

Key features

Conversation capture and analysis

Convin records, transcribes, and analyzes interactions across voice, video, and email. That channel range can suit teams whose customer conversations do not happen only on the phone. Analysis across 70+ languages is a practical advantage for multilingual operations, though the feature set may be broader than a team seeking only basic call recording needs.

Live agent assistance

Real-Time Agent Assist combines live monitoring with searchable knowledge, call-script guidance, prompts, help cards, and live transcripts. This is aimed at agents who need support during conversations, rather than feedback only after a call has ended. The range of guidance tools makes it relevant to teams seeking consistent in-the-moment support.

Automated quality assurance

Automated Quality Assurance scores 100% of conversations across calls, chats, and email. Broad coverage can help quality teams move beyond sampling interactions, while the free plan takes a more manual approach and does not include this automated scoring offer.

Deployment, integration, and security

Organizations can deploy Convin on-premises, in a client cloud, or in a private cloud. Its integrations span CRM, dialer, video conferencing, team messaging, CCaaS, calendar, and other categories. Salesforce support syncs contact, account, and opportunity data both ways and pushes recording links after meetings.

Convin states that it is GDPR-ready, CCPA compliant, HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 Type II compliant, and ISO 27001 compliant. It encrypts customer data, including recordings, transcripts, and passwords, and uses SSL for access points. These controls and deployment options may matter to organizations with specific security or infrastructure requirements.

Pricing

Quality Management Software

The free Quality Management Software plan is free. It includes a single manual QA platform, a flexible call-auditing template, an automated audit workflow, and a detailed audit-reporting dashboard. This is a useful starting point for teams focused on manual quality management, but it is not the same as the 100% automated conversation scoring offered by Automated Quality Assurance.

Customized plans for every business

Convin offers custom pricing for its CX Suite, Real-Time Suite, Voice of Customer, and Post Interaction Suite. These packages are the route to consider for teams seeking a broader or more tailored set of capabilities, including the platform’s live assistance and automated QA functions. Buyers who need a predictable published price should compare alternatives before committing.

A free plan and free trial are available. No trial length, renewal terms, seat allowance, or usage caps are provided here, so teams should confirm those terms before relying on either option for ongoing operations.

Platforms

Convin is available on web, Android, and iOS. Convin Mobile brings the product to both major mobile platforms, while the web version is an option for teams working from a browser. The available platforms provide flexibility, although they do not by themselves establish feature parity across devices.

Who it's for

Convin is best suited to contact centers that need conversation analysis across several channels, want live agent guidance, or need quality scoring across all conversations. Its language coverage and on-premises, client-cloud, and private-cloud deployment choices can also suit organizations with multilingual operations or particular infrastructure needs.

It is less compelling for buyers who need a clear, comparable price before engaging with a vendor, or for teams whose only requirement is a small-scale manual QA workflow: the free plan covers that narrower use, while the broader suites carry custom pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros: Analysis across voice, video, and email gives teams a single platform for varied interaction types.
Pros: Real-time scripts, prompts, searchable knowledge, help cards, and transcripts support agents during conversations.
Pros: Automated QA covers 100% of conversations across calls, chats, and email rather than relying only on sampled audits.
Pros: More than 70 languages and three deployment models broaden its fit for international and infrastructure-sensitive organizations.
Cons: Custom pricing for the broader suites makes costs harder to compare in advance.
Cons: The free plan is centered on manual QA, so it does not provide the same automated scoring proposition as the broader product.

Alternatives

Voxjar is worth considering for teams wanting a web-based free QA plan with a defined allowance: its Basics plan includes 3 users, 120 AI credits, about two hours of Auto QA, one-call-at-a-time uploads, and basic QA tools.
QualityDesk is another web-based freemium option for buyers comparing quality-management tools.
EvaluAgent may suit teams prioritizing automated QA and improvement workflows, with transcription, multilingual support, custom scorecards, coaching workflows, performance dashboards, SSO, and MFA.
Abacus QMS is a paid alternative to consider when comparing quality-management products.
AmplifAI Quality Assurance is a paid option available on the web and as self-hosted software.
MaestroQA offers a free plan with 100 Agent Runs per month, unlimited Q&A, and $100 in AI credits, making it relevant for teams comparing a usage-capped free QA option.
TELUS Digital Agent Quality Insights is a paid, web-based alternative.
Call Optix may fit teams seeking published usage-based packages: its Starter plan is 149.00 USD per month and includes 2,500 analysis minutes per month, up to 5 agents, core intelligence features, and 30-day data retention.

Verdict

Choose Convin if your contact center needs multilingual conversation analysis, live agent guidance, and broad automated QA coverage in one platform. Its free manual-QA plan offers a way to start narrowly, but the main reason to look elsewhere is the lack of a published price for the broader suites; teams that need transparent costs should compare priced alternatives first.
