Overview

Collexo combines fee setup, collection and reconciliation in a system built for schools, universities, coaching institutes, EdTech providers and education consultants. Institutions can set charges and schedules by programme, campus, cohort or student, then trace transactions through settlement and bank records. That connected workflow is more relevant to student-fee operations than a generic checkout tool, but organisations without complex fee administration may not need its breadth.

Key features

Fee rules and payment options

Institutions can configure instalments, scholarships, concessions, penalties, taxes and reminders around their fee structures. Checkout supports UPI, cards, net banking and bank transfers, with partial payments and fee-head splitting. Payment links, recurring mandates, dynamic QR codes, EMI, offline collection and international channels add options for different payer situations. This flexibility can accommodate varied payment arrangements, though institutions should confirm which channels and workflows suit their setup.

Reconciliation and integrations

Collexo matches learner, fee-head, transaction, settlement and bank records, and flags failed, partial, duplicate and unmatched payments. That makes it useful for institutions that need to investigate exceptions rather than simply record incoming payments. Configured integrations and APIs connect with ERP, SIS, CRM, accounting systems, student portals, gateways, banks and communication channels; the developer portal also covers fee eligibility and order generation. Because connections are configured, fit with an institution's existing systems is an important consideration.

Security and mobile access

Security controls include multi-factor authentication, IP-based restrictions, audit logging, data masking, encryption and data isolation. The maker states that Collexo is ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, SOC 2 Type 1 compliant and SOC 2 Type 2 ready; NoPaperForms also states ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certifications, SOC 2 Type I and Type II certifications, and GDPR compliance following an independent audit. The student fee app on Google Play supports fee management, payment history and receipt downloads. Collexo is built on licensed payment infrastructure and provides the software, workflow, system-of-record and reporting layer around transactions.

Pricing

Collexo is paid, with custom pricing. Institutions are invited to schedule a demo, so this is a purchase that requires a pricing discussion rather than a self-serve plan comparison. That may suit organisations evaluating a tailored institutional workflow, but buyers seeking a published price or free tier should look elsewhere.

Platforms

Collexo supports Android, iOS, web and API access. Its student fee app supports payment history and receipt downloads, while API access is intended for connecting data with other systems. The maker lists +91-9910-706-858 for support and provides developer documentation and support resources.

Who it's for

Collexo is aimed at education organisations managing fees across student groups and payment schedules, including universities, schools, coaching institutes, EdTech providers and education consultants. It is a stronger fit where configurable fee rules, multiple collection methods and reconciliation matter together. A smaller organisation with simple billing may find the specialised scope and custom buying process unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Pro: Fee rules can vary by programme, campus, cohort or student, with instalments and concessions supported; useful for institutions with non-uniform charges.
Pro: Payment options include online, offline, recurring and international channels, while checkout supports partial payments and fee-head splitting.
Pro: Reconciliation surfaces failed, partial, duplicate and unmatched payments across transaction and bank records.
Con: Custom pricing requires a demo or direct discussion, so buyers cannot compare a public plan price upfront.
Con: Integrations are configured, making compatibility with current systems a key part of evaluation.

Verdict

Choose Collexo if your education organisation needs flexible fee administration joined to multiple payment routes and detailed reconciliation. Its main advantage is keeping those stages in one education-focused workflow; its main drawback is that custom pricing and configured integrations require careful evaluation. Look elsewhere if you need a transparent price or straightforward self-serve billing.
