Overview

The workflow maps Excel or CSV columns to fields in a template, then generates a batch. Studio offers CR80 card presets and A4 certificates, with PDF print sheets at 300 DPI and PNG exports. That combination is practical for teams moving recipient data into physical credentials, rather than for organizations whose priority is independently verifiable digital certificates.

QR codes can be bound to recipient records, and paid plans add bulk QR signing. But independent verification is not generally available: the current beta focuses on bulk issuance. That is an important distinction for buyers who need recipients or third parties to validate credentials themselves.

Template definitions are saved to the cloud, while uploaded photos and spreadsheets remain on the user's machine and are not persisted. For large jobs, the playbook recommends splitting runs above a few thousand rows into batches of 2,000–3,000 to keep browser memory predictable. Berlvis Credentials is in beta, so buyers should weigh that status when choosing a production workflow.

Key features

Spreadsheet-to-template production

Column mapping lets users reuse Excel or CSV recipient data across templates instead of creating each card or certificate individually. Bulk generation suits recurring cohorts, staff badges, or event credentials; the suggested batch size means particularly large runs may need to be divided rather than sent through in one pass.

Print output and QR codes

CR80 presets target standard ID cards, while A4 layouts suit certificates. PDF print sheets at 300 DPI and PNG exports provide two useful output formats. QR codes tied to recipient records can support issuance workflows, but they should not be mistaken for a generally available independent verification service.

Payments and data handling

Paystack supports local card payments and Stripe supports international card payments. Keeping uploaded photos and spreadsheets on the user's machine limits their persistence in the service, while cloud-saved template definitions preserve design work.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 NGN per free and provides Studio access, but exports carry a watermark. It is a sensible way to work with the studio before paying, though the watermark makes it a poor choice for polished credentials sent to recipients.

ID Cards costs 5000.00 NGN per month, billed ₦5,000/ month. It includes unlimited ID card templates and generation, bulk Excel import, PDF print sheets, and watermark-free exports. This is the focused choice for organizations issuing cards regularly; it does not include the certificate and bulk QR signing benefits bundled into All Access.

All Access costs 50000.00 NGN per year, billed ₦50,000/ year. It includes everything in ID Cards, unlimited certificates, bulk QR signing, brand kits, team templates, and priority support. It fits teams producing both credential types or needing shared branding and support. The plan gives up the monthly billing cadence of ID Cards in exchange for broader features on an annual term.

Paystack and Stripe address local and international card payments respectively. The published plans state no seat or issuance quota caps; the free plan's stated limitation is watermarked exports.

Platforms

Berlvis Credentials runs on the web. Its browser-based workflow and local handling of uploaded files suit teams preparing batches at a computer, though large runs should be divided into the recommended batch sizes to keep browser memory predictable.

Who it's for

HR teams producing staff cards, schools and training programs issuing certificates, and event organizers managing recipient lists are the intended audience. The strongest case is a team with recurring spreadsheet-driven card production. Organizations needing both certificates and ID cards may find All Access a better fit. Buyers who require independent QR verification should look elsewhere, as that is not generally available in the current beta.

Pros and cons

Pros: Spreadsheet column mapping supports repeatable bulk production without entering recipient fields one by one.
Pros: CR80 and A4 layouts, 300 DPI PDF print sheets, and PNG exports address card and certificate output needs.
Pros: Uploaded photos and spreadsheets are not persisted, while template definitions are saved to the cloud.
Cons: Free exports carry a watermark, so the no-cost plan is not suitable for clean, recipient-ready output.
Cons: Independent QR verification is not generally available, limiting its fit for verification-led credential programs.
Cons: The product is in beta, and large browser runs should be split into batches of 2,000–3,000 rows for predictable memory use.

Verdict

Choose Berlvis Credentials if your team needs repeatable, spreadsheet-driven production of print-ready ID cards, with certificates added through the annual All Access plan. Its combination of card presets, bulk imports, and clean paid exports is a focused proposition for operational credential work. Look elsewhere if independent QR verification is essential, or if beta status is not acceptable for your issuance process.
