Comment Mediapart a récupéré l’archive Messenger
Le 28 septembre 2026, Mediapart a publié des captures d’écran de conversations à caractère antisémite attribuées à Jordan Bardella. Les échanges auraient eu lieu en 2013, selon 01net. Le 1er octobre, trois jours après cette première publication, Mediapart a publié un second article présentant des éléments destinés à étayer l’authenticité des captures initiales.
D’après les détails rapportés par 01net, la source anonyme de Mediapart avait échangé avec un compte portant le nom « Jordan Bardella ». Le média lui a demandé d’exporter les données de son propre compte Meta. L’archive obtenue comprenait les conversations datées. Il s’agit donc, selon ce récit, d’une copie récupérée depuis les données du compte de l’interlocutrice, et non d’un accès par une faille ou d’une demande directe de Mediapart à Meta.
01net rapporte que Mediapart a fait constater l’extraction par un commissaire de justice. Ce constat porte sur l’extraction telle que décrite : il ne signifie pas que le commissaire a observé les échanges en 2013 ni qu’il a identifié la personne qui écrivait depuis l’autre compte.

L’archive renforce la question de l’existence et de la provenance déclarée des échanges par rapport à des captures d’écran isolées. Mais un compte dont le nom affiché est « Jordan Bardella » n’est pas, par ce seul fait, authentifié comme étant utilisé par Jordan Bardella. 01net indique que l’identité de la personne derrière le compte reste impossible à établir à partir des éléments décrits. L’article évoque une éventuelle demande judiciaire à Meta pour obtenir des adresses IP, sans rapporter qu’une telle demande ait abouti.
Pourquoi l’export de ses propres données est possible
L’article 15 du RGPD reconnaît à une personne le droit d’obtenir confirmation du traitement de données personnelles la concernant, d’y accéder et d’en obtenir une copie. Le texte précise que ce droit à copie ne doit pas porter atteinte aux droits et libertés d’autrui. Le règlement (UE) 2016/679 a été adopté le 27 avril 2016.

Il ne donne pas automatiquement accès à toutes les données d’une autre personne et ne constitue pas une méthode pour prouver l’identité de l’auteur d’un message. Accéder à des données et identifier l’humain derrière un compte sont deux questions distinctes.
Comment lancer un export Meta
01net a rapporté le 2 octobre 2026 le parcours suivant dans les menus Meta. Les intitulés peuvent changer ; ce chemin est celui indiqué dans l’article, et non une procédure confirmée ici par la documentation d’assistance de Meta.

- Dans l’Espace Comptes, sélectionnez « Vos informations et autorisations ».
- Choisissez « Exporter vos informations », puis « Créer une exportation ».
Un export ne garantit pas que chaque message recherché s’y trouvera. Les éléments disponibles dépendent des données accessibles dans le compte ; les informations rapportées ici ne permettent pas de conclure qu’un export récupère systématiquement des messages supprimés.

Selon 01net, Jordan Bardella a qualifié les captures de « faux grossiers » sur X et déclaré qu’il chargerait son avocat « d’engager toutes les procédures nécessaires face à Mediapart ». Ces propos sont sa contestation des captures ; ils ne tranchent pas, à eux seuls, la question de leur authenticité.
