Colorlib’s travel-oriented Search Form V11 is a free front-end template for a travel website, not a ready-made booking engine. It advertises four tabs, several fields, a date picker and a dropdown for travel searches such as hotels, flights and car rentals. You still need to connect its form to your own search route and inventory, and first confirm that you have the travel template: Colorlib also uses “V11” for a different, compact header search.
What the travel-oriented V11 includes
In its October 1, 2025 roundup, Colorlib presents Search Form V11 as a customizable search-form snippet for accommodation and other travel services. The listed uses include hotels, flights and car rentals. Its advertised interface has four tabs, multiple ready-to-use fields, a date picker and a dropdown. The four-tab layout can provide a visual starting point for separating search modes, but the fields and tabs only help if they match what your site actually offers. A hotel search might need destination, dates and guest counts; a flight or rental search may require a different set of inputs. Treat the included controls as interface elements to adapt, not proof that the corresponding travel services are available.

The version label is ambiguous. Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 search-bar roundup also calls a different design “V11”: a compact navigation-bar search that expands and collapses. That description is not the travel form. The available descriptions do not establish whether the older travel-oriented version was renamed, moved or is still offered at the same download location. Before building around the template, open the specific preview and download page and verify that it shows the travel tabs and fields you intend to use. Do not choose a download based on “V11” alone.
What it does not provide
The template is a front-end form, not evidence of live listings, availability checks, pricing, booking or payment processing. Colorlib’s general implementation guidance says its search snippets need to be wired to a results URL and to the input parameter expected by the receiving system. For a travel site, that means your project must supply the actual search route, inventory lookup, result display and any booking flow separately.

Colorlib gives a WordPress site-search example using action="/", method="get" and name="s". That example is for WordPress search; it does not configure a travel search or connect the form to a booking system. Choose the action, method and field names according to your own backend’s requirements.
How to assess and implement it
- Confirm the exact template. Open the travel-form preview and download, then compare the visible tabs and fields with the intended travel design.
- Map the interface to your inventory. Decide which travel modes your site supports and which fields each search needs. Remove irrelevant controls and add any required inputs.
- Wire submission to the right route. Set the form’s submit destination and each input’s name to match the search endpoint and parameters your backend accepts.
- Build the search flow behind it. Connect the endpoint to the appropriate inventory or service, return results, and implement any availability, pricing or booking behavior your site requires.
- Test the finished form. Check its layout on the devices your visitors use, verify that the date picker and dropdown work, and test labels and keyboard operation. No independent responsive or accessibility audit for this exact version is established by Colorlib’s descriptions.
- Check the download’s terms. Confirm the exact travel-form license and any attribution requirements on its own download page before using it, particularly on a commercial site.
Is it a good starting point?
It may suit a travel website that wants a prebuilt visual form and is prepared to customize and integrate it. It is not a shortcut to searchable inventory or online bookings. Evaluate whether its controls fit your offerings, whether you can connect them to the required backend, and whether the downloaded version’s terms work for your project.
