Why the taste result is stronger than the nutrition result
CHOICE says its panel of three experts blind-tasted 22 products at room temperature, assessing appearance, aroma, flavour and texture. In the sensory score, flavour counts for 50%, texture for 30%, and appearance and aroma for 10% each. CHOICE’s guide calls it the tastiest choc-chip cookie in the test and says its 84% sensory result outperformed the bakery-style cookies included. The guide describes the cookie as rustic-looking, with plenty of chocolate chips; that is the panel’s impression, not an independent tasting claim.

Does “Coles Ultimate” mean one specific cookie?
Not necessarily. Coles lists multiple products in its Ultimate cookie range. For example, its catalogue includes a gluten-free triple-chocolate variant weighing 252 g. That is a different product from the 400 g 40% Chocolate Chip cookie CHOICE reviewed, and the gluten-free label should not be transferred between variants.
