For India-market buyers, the vivo T5x is the stronger fit on paper if you want a much larger battery, a higher-resolution selfie camera or manufacturer-listed IP68 and IP69+ protection. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the more appealing spec-sheet choice if you want an AMOLED display and more rear-camera options, including a telephoto camera. Neither is a universal winner: compare the same RAM and storage configuration at checkout, then decide which trade-offs matter to you.
CMF Phone 2 Pro vs vivo T5x: key specifications
The T5x figures below come from vivo India’s product page. CMF Phone 2 Pro specifications are from third-party comparison listings, because an official CMF specification page was not among the sources available for this comparison. Confirm the CMF details against the official regional product page before purchase.

Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the vivo T5x for battery capacity and protection claims
The T5x’s rated 7,200 mAh battery is substantially larger than the 5,000 mAh figure listed for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. That is a capacity comparison, not proof of longer real-world runtime: no directly comparable battery test is established here. vivo also lists 44W charging and IP68 and IP69+ protection ratings for the India model. Water and dust resistance has test limits, can degrade with wear, and is not a reason to deliberately expose a phone to water.
Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro for display technology and rear-camera choices
Comparison listings describe the CMF Phone 2 Pro as having an AMOLED panel, while vivo specifies an LCD for the T5x. They also list a main, telephoto and ultrawide rear-camera arrangement for the CMF, versus the T5x’s main and bokeh cameras. That gives the CMF more focal-length options on paper, particularly for telephoto shots; it does not establish that its photos are better. No comparable image-quality measurements or display tests are available in these sources.

Consider weight, selfies and processor claims carefully
The listed weights are 185 g for the CMF and 219 g for the T5x, making the vivo the heavier phone in these specifications. The T5x also lists a 32 MP front camera against 16 MP for the CMF, but megapixels alone do not determine selfie quality. Likewise, the Dimensity 7400-Turbo and Dimensity 7300 Pro names do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use; there is no comparable independent benchmark testing in the cited material.

How to make the final choice
- Pick the T5x if its larger rated battery, listed charging rate, protection ratings or front-camera resolution matter most to you.
- Pick the CMF Phone 2 Pro if you prefer an AMOLED display and want telephoto and ultrawide rear-camera options on paper.
- If prices are close for the same storage and RAM, weigh the display type, camera flexibility and lighter listed weight of the CMF against the T5x’s larger battery and official India-market specification details.
- Check the exact region, variant, software version and update policy for the unit being sold; listings and software can differ or change.
