Which phone has the larger screen?
The CMF Phone 2 Pro has the larger display at 6.77 inches, compared with 6.31 inches on the vivo X300 FE. Nothing specifies a flexible AMOLED panel with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. If you prefer a more compact phone, the vivo’s smaller stated screen is the clearer distinction; the specifications alone do not establish differences in comfort or one-handed usability.

How do performance and battery specifications compare?
Nothing names the CMF’s chip as the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G, while vivo specifies the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the X300 FE. These are manufacturer-listed chip names, not benchmark results, so they do not establish how much faster one phone will feel in a particular app or game.

The listed battery capacities are 5000 mAh for the CMF and 6500 mAh for the vivo. The X300 FE therefore has the larger rated capacity, but capacity by itself does not predict real-world battery life. Screen use, software, signal conditions, and other factors affect endurance; the cited specifications are not comparative battery tests.

How do the cameras compare?
Both phones list 50 MP main and telephoto rear cameras alongside an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The stated optical zoom differs: 2x on the CMF Phone 2 Pro and 3x on the vivo X300 FE. The vivo also lists a 50 MP wide-angle front camera, compared with 16 MP on the CMF. Megapixel counts and camera specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos; that requires independent image testing.
vivo’s optional telephoto extender
The vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and is sold separately, according to vivo’s product page. vivo India announced a launch price of INR 15,999 for the extender in 2026; it is an additional purchase, not part of the phone’s listed specifications or an included item. What is the price difference in India?
There is no single like-for-like price difference in the available figures: they refer to different sources, dates, and in one case a European listing rather than an India price.

- Choose the CMF Phone 2 Pro if a larger 6.77-inch screen is your priority, or its 2x optical telephoto and stated support schedule fit your needs.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you want the smaller 6.31-inch display, the listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a larger stated battery capacity, 3x optical telephoto, or a higher-resolution front camera.
- Compare support terms carefully: Nothing specifies Android and security-update durations separately. vivo’s “5 Year Smoothness” wording does not state matching update categories and durations on the reviewed India page, so it is not a like-for-like update guarantee.
