The expansion introduces Double Reveal for Standard mode: each suggestion receives two responses. Nintendo describes it as a new way to play the Painted Red Gallery case. Do you need to buy Cluedo separately?
Yes. Nintendo identifies Cluedo as the required game, so the expansion is not playable on its own. Make sure you have the Switch game before purchasing the add-on. Nintendo’s product description does not identify the tabletop Clue/Cluedo game or Switch hardware accessories as requirements.
