It offers free-to-play poker and social games, and separately runs prize tournaments that award cash or prizes under sweepstakes rules. Whether you can enter the prize tournaments depends on your age, where you are located when you play, and the rules of the specific promotion. Free play does not award the promoted prizes. The prize tournaments are the part of the service where winning money is possible, and that is where the eligibility and terms matter most.
This review covers what the operator publishes as of early October 2026, how the two play routes differ, which figures are promotional and which describe actual outcomes, and what to check before you enter. Official pages change often, so confirm current rules on the live site before you spend money or submit personal information.

Two ways to play, and why they are not the same
ClubWPT presents two separate paths. The first is free-to-play poker and social games, which use Play Chips as their currency. The second is a set of prize tournaments, including VIP, Diamond and Super SATurdays events, which use Tournament Points to enter. The World Poker Tour information page says Tournament Points cannot be purchased. It does not explain how they are issued, so read the current terms for that detail.

Its homepage also says no purchase is necessary to play, and it points to the terms for the alternative way to take part. In practice, that means a paid membership is one route into prize play, not the only route. Do not assume that membership is required, and do not assume that the free games themselves can pay out the advertised prizes.

Who can enter
ClubWPT’s homepage says users must be at least 18 to join and play online games. That is the baseline, not the whole test. Promotions can add their own age thresholds, residence requirements or lists of eligible states and countries, and some require compliance with promotion-specific rules.
The operator’s current FAQ names Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom, plus U.S. states and Washington, D.C., as places where the service is offered. Other operator pages describe the scope differently depending on whether they refer to account access, free-to-play games or prize play, so the count of eligible places can vary from page to page. Treat the live eligibility page as the authority. The operator’s eligibility page states that local law governs and that prohibited jurisdictions are excluded.

ClubWPT describes its model as lawful and says it is “not gambling.” Those are the operator’s own statements. They are not an independent legal finding, and whether a sweepstakes prize model is permitted where you live is a question for local law, which this review does not resolve.

Prize figures in context
Several figures appear in ClubWPT’s promotional material. Each describes something different, and none is a forecast of what an individual player will win.

| Figure | Source and date | What it does and does not tell you |
|---|---|---|
| $100,000 in cash and prizes every month | ClubWPT eligibility page, checked in 2026 | An operator-promoted aggregate for the whole pool. It is not an individual expected return. |
| $216.24 average winnings per winner in 2025 | ClubWPT homepage, reporting 2025 | The operator’s own average for winners. It does not give the odds of winning or the expected value for a typical entrant. |
| $10,000 cash tournament breakdown: $2,500 for first, $1,000 for runner-up, $6,500 for all other places | ClubWPT homepage, promotional example | An example of one promotion’s structure. Dates, availability and rules can change. |
| Weekly Diamond satellites | ClubWPT homepage | Advertised schedule. Confirm the current day, entry route and rules before entering. |
Two readings are common and both are wrong. A large aggregate pool does not mean your chance of a large prize is high, and a winner average does not mean a typical player should expect any return. Odds and prize structures for individual promotions appear in the current terms, which are the documents to read before entering.
Claiming a prize
ClubWPT’s prize eligibility page sets out what happens after a win. The operator says required documentation may be needed, and it recommends allowing four weeks for processing after all information has been received. The steps below follow that page.
