The one-day Cloud Foundry Foundation community event took place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany. The Linux Foundation event page now serves primarily as an archive, linking to the session schedule, available presentations and recordings on the Cloud Foundry YouTube channel.
What Cloud Foundry Day Europe is
Cloud Foundry Day Europe is a focused technical community event, not a general-purpose Linux Foundation conference. The Cloud Foundry Foundation hosts it with community and program-committee participation for operators, developers, contributors, end-users and member companies.
Its purpose is practical exchange around Cloud Foundry platforms, application delivery and the ecosystem around them. The 2025 description highlighted platform technologies, buildpacks, Kubernetes-related work, generative AI, workshops, open forums and the project’s future direction.
The ecosystem includes both established Cloud Foundry deployments and Kubernetes-oriented projects. Korifi brings a Cloud Foundry-style developer experience to Kubernetes, while Paketo Buildpacks support repeatable application image creation. That does not mean every existing Cloud Foundry installation has been replaced by Kubernetes.

- Open the LF Events landing page.
- Use the schedule directory to find individual sessions.
- Check each session entry for a presentation link when the speaker supplied slides.
- Use the Cloud Foundry YouTube channel for session recordings, as directed by the event page.
Slides and recordings are separate resources. The FAQ says speakers are encouraged to provide presentations, but some sessions may have no slide deck. A missing presentation link therefore does not necessarily indicate a broken archive.

The two editions must not be merged. The Karlsruhe references in the sponsor guide are particularly easy to confuse with the 2025 Frankfurt listing.
Registration, pricing and remote access
Registration for the 2025 edition is no longer open because the event has concluded. The inspected official materials do not establish a 2026 Cloud Foundry Day Europe date.
The frequently quoted figures of $50 for in-person attendance and free online access belong to the 2024 European edition, not a verified 2025 price. The 2025 FAQ referred readers to registration for fees, but the available material does not state the amount.

The 2025 sources emphasize the onsite event and post-event recordings, but they do not conclusively document the precise live-streaming arrangement. Do not assume that the dedicated livestream used for the 2024 event was repeated in 2025.
Historical onsite guidance
For reference, the 2025 FAQ listed CEST (UTC+2), business-casual clothing, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free food options. Badge pickup was on the ground floor foyer; attendees needed identification and registration confirmation, and badges could not be shared. The German emergency number was 112, and hotel accommodation was not included with registration. These were instructions for the completed event, not current travel advice.
Attendance and ecosystem context
The Cloud Foundry Foundation’s 2025 retrospective reported nearly 200 registrations and a 95% in-person show-up rate. Those are organizer-reported figures, not independently audited attendance statistics.
The same coverage identified SAP SE, VMware Tanzu by Broadcom, anynines, STACKIT and FiveTwenty as sponsors. Sponsorship demonstrates ecosystem participation; it is not an endorsement or evidence that every sponsor suits a particular deployment.

Treat the LF Events page as an archive: use its schedule and linked recordings for historical learning, and look for a separate official announcement before assuming a future European edition exists.
