The Clevetura S for Mac puts pointer control on the keyboard itself: its 78 keys also act as a touch-sensitive surface for moving the cursor and using macOS gestures. In Cult of Mac’s October 5, 2026 review, Rajesh Pandey found that useful for quick actions without moving a hand away from the keys—but kept using a Logitech MX Master 3S for longer stretches of pointer work. The keyboard made reaching for a mouse less automatic, not unnecessary.
What makes the Clevetura S different?
The Clevetura S is a compact, 78-key Mac keyboard whose key surface doubles as a trackpad. Instead of moving a hand to a separate pointing device, you can slide a finger over the keys to move the pointer and use touch gestures. The review describes this as the keyboard’s defining feature, rather than a replacement for a full-size trackpad or mouse.

Pandey found the integrated surface particularly handy for brief pointer movements and macOS gestures, including switching between Spaces and opening Mission Control. As he put it, “This is the reason to consider the Clevetura S, and it delivers on its promise.”

Touch input operates across the keys, so the keyboard can register movement and taps where you would normally type. The review says a two-finger tap right-clicks, while a double-tap left-clicks; physical left- and right-click buttons sit below the spacebar. The TouchOnKeys app is needed for the touchpad features and is where the reviewer says gestures, backlighting and per-app profiles are managed.
#1 Best Overall
- WIRELESS KEYBOARD WITH TRACKPAD BUILT INTO THE KEYS: Scroll, swipe and zoom without moving your hand to a mouse. Compact 78-key layout for tighter desks and travel
- COMPACT MAC KEYBOARD, 78 KEYS, QUIET TYPING. Low-profile scissor switches at a standard 19 mm key pitch, so the layout feels familiar in a smaller footprint.
- NATIVE MAC TRACKPAD GESTURES: Compatible with Mac, iPad, Apple TV and Vision Pro. Three Bluetooth channels plus USB-C connect one keyboard to four devices. Mac needs the TouchOnKeys app
- BACKLIT RGB KEYBOARD: Per-key backlight responds to touch and gestures, with 16.5 million colors in the TouchOnKeys app
- ADAPTIVE TOUCH RECOGNITION: Separates typing from touch, so resting hands do not trigger the cursor. Battery runs up to 44 hours with the backlight off. Slim and easy to carry
This arrangement is most appealing when the pointer action is short: make a quick selection, move to an item, or invoke a gesture, then return to typing. It is less compelling if your work involves extended, precise cursor movement. Pandey continued to use a Logitech MX Master 3S for those longer stretches, so the review does not establish that the Clevetura replaces a mouse for every task.
What is the learning curve?
The keys’ second job changes a familiar typing habit. If your fingers rest on the keyboard between sentences, they may make unwanted touch inputs. Pandey says this happened to him at first and that it took a few weeks to feel comfortable. In his words, “If you tend to leave your fingers resting on the keys between sentences, expect a similar change in habit.”

- Tri-Fold All-in-One Travel Tool: Tri-fold design with built-in touchpad, phone stand, and PU leather carrying pouch replaces both keyboard and mouse while reducing travel accessories for a complete mobile workstation anywhere
- 88-Key Comfortable Typing Layout: Larger-than-average with 0.65" keycaps and full shortcut row provides more comfortable typing and better productivity than typical compact foldable keyboards
- 3-Device Bluetooth Switching: Bluetooth 5.1 with 3-device connectivity quickly switches between phone, tablet, and laptop without reconnecting for seamless multi-device workflow across Windows and Android
- 120-Day Standby with Auto-Sleep: Built-in 300mAh battery with USB-C charging, up to 120 days standby and smart sleep after 60 minutes of inactivity, folding to power off for extended travel-ready battery life
The review describes sensitivity adjustment and a keyboard-only mode as ways to reduce or avoid unintended touch input. Those options help address the trade-off, but do not remove the need to learn how to keep fingers lifted when touch control is active.

Layout, connections and app controls
According to the review, the Mac model has scissor switches, a full function-key row, and Fn in the lower-left corner. It offers customizable backlighting and touch sliders for controls such as brightness and volume. The body is thicker than Apple’s Magic Keyboard, the keycaps are closely spaced, and the Clevetura lacks Touch ID—details worth weighing if you are used to Apple’s compact keyboard.

Pandey reported charging every two or three days at first, then four or five days between charges after a firmware update added Backlight Eco Mode. He also says dimming or turning off the backlight may help. That is one reviewer’s experience, and actual runtime will depend on use; it should not be read as a guaranteed interval.

The Clevetura S makes the most sense for a Mac user who often wants quick pointer movements or gestures while keeping both hands close to the keyboard, and who is willing to adapt to touch-sensitive keys. It is a less straightforward choice if you habitually rest your fingers on keys, rely on Touch ID, or need a mouse-like pointer for long sessions.
At the time of the review, Cult of Mac reported preorder prices of $199 for the white Mac version and $189 for the black version; the white model was available, while the black model was expected to ship in mid-to-late October 2026.
