In Samsung Internet, go to Settings > Personal browsing data > Delete browsing data, select Cookies and site data, then delete and confirm. In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data, select the cookie category and delete it. Clearing cookies can sign you out of websites and remove saved preferences.
Clear cookies in Samsung Internet
- Open Samsung Internet.
- Tap More options (the three vertical dots). Its placement can vary by version.
- Tap Settings, then Personal browsing data.
- Tap Delete browsing data.
- Select Cookies and site data. Leave other categories unchecked if you only want to remove cookies.
- Tap Delete data, then tap Delete to confirm.
Samsung’s support instructions give this general path for Samsung Internet. The deletion screen can also offer categories such as browsing history, cached images and files, passwords, and autofill data, so check the selections before confirming. Samsung US: Delete browsing data in Galaxy Browser

Clear cookies in Chrome
- Open Chrome and tap More.
- Tap Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data.
- Choose a time range, then select Cookies and site data. Select other categories only if you intend to delete them too.
- Tap Delete data.
Chrome’s Android help page documents these steps. Because Samsung Internet and Chrome store browser data separately, clearing cookies in one does not clear those stored by the other. Google Chrome Help: Clear, allow, and manage cookies in Chrome
Remove data for one website in Chrome
- Open the website in Chrome.
- Tap the page information icon to the left of the address bar.
- Open Cookies and site data, then delete the stored data shown for that site.
This is a narrower option than deleting cookies across the selected time range. Google documents site-level deletion in Chrome; the available controls may depend on the site and Chrome version. Google Chrome Help

Know what clearing cookies changes
Deleting cookies can sign you out of some websites. Google also notes that saved site preferences can be removed, so you may need to set them again. Before clearing data, make sure you can sign back in to accounts you use. Google Chrome Help Samsung Support
Stop or limit future cookies instead
Deleting cookies removes data already stored; changing cookie permissions controls future storage. In Samsung Internet, Samsung documents this path: Device Settings > Apps > Samsung Internet > Samsung Internet settings > Sites and downloads > Site permissions > Cookies. Depending on the available choices, you can allow all cookies, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies. Samsung Internet also provides site-specific cookie preferences through a website’s cookie prompt or management controls. The options vary by site. In Chrome, third-party-cookie controls are separate from deleting stored cookies, and Google cautions that blocking third-party cookies can prevent some sites from working as expected.
