Citizen has the widest documented range, from the 42 mm Eco-Drive Chandler chronograph to compact Citizen L and FE6121 models. Casio is a sensible quartz/value comparator, but the available Casio evidence is an older catalog illustration without a verified current model number or confirmed present-day availability.
What “Arabic dial” means in these watches
In watch descriptions, “Arabic dial” normally means hour numerals written as 1, 2, 3 and so on, rather than Roman numerals, dots or simple baton indices. The phrase can describe a dial with all 12 Arabic numerals or one that mixes numerals with bars, dots or other markers. That distinction matters: a watch with twelve large numerals gives the fastest visual read, while a mixed layout may look lighter but requires more interpretation.

Numeral design also affects readability. Size, contrast, spacing, the shape of the typeface and whether markers are raised all influence how quickly you can read the time. Seiko specifically says the SRPG35 typeface was designed for watch dials and that its markers are embossed three-dimensional elements. Citizen’s documented models range from crisp black numerals on white backgrounds to blue or patterned dials, so “Arabic numerals” does not guarantee the same level of contrast on every model.

Seiko: the strongest dedicated field-watch choice
Seiko 5 Sports Field SRPG35
The SRPG35 is the most direct answer if your priority is a conventional field watch whose dial is built around Arabic numerals. Seiko describes it as a 39.4 mm field watch with “highly legible Arabic numerals.” The mid-size case avoids the extremes represented by Citizen’s 27.7 mm and 43 mm examples, making it a practical starting point for many wrists without presenting itself as a small dress watch.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Seiko says the numeral typeface was designed specifically for watch dials. That is more meaningful than simply counting how many numerals appear: the shapes, spacing and weight were selected for time reading. The embossed three-dimensional markers add physical depth, while the lightweight nylon strap reinforces the field-watch brief and keeps the watch visually and physically casual.
The available description establishes the SRPG35’s field-watch positioning but does not provide a caliber specification in this comparison. Treat it as a mechanical-oriented Seiko 5 Sports field watch, and confirm the exact movement, winding behavior and service details on the regional product page before purchase. Its appeal is the coherent package of proportions, numeral treatment and field styling rather than a long list of complications.
Seiko Presage Laurel-inspired enamel model
Seiko’s 2026 announcement describes a more formal alternative inspired by the 1913 Laurel, Seiko’s first wristwatch. It uses an original Arabic-numeral typeface intended to balance elegance and legibility and gives the dial a distinctive red 12. This is not simply another version of the SRPG35: the Laurel reference and enamel-dial direction place it in a dressier design conversation.
The announcement does not establish a case diameter, water-resistance rating, movement specification or retail availability in the evidence used here. Consider it when the historical design language and refined presentation matter more than field-watch utility, but verify the final regional specification before treating it as a buying option.

Citizen: the broadest documented range
Chandler CA0330-59A: the feature-rich 42 mm option
The Chandler CA0330-59A is the largest clearly specified Citizen example after the 43 mm AW1881-52L. Its 42 mm stainless-steel case surrounds a patterned white dial with crisp Arabic numerals. The Eco-Drive system uses light power, so routine battery changes are not part of normal ownership.
Its defining advantage is functionality. The chronograph measures in 1/5-second increments for up to 60 minutes, and the watch adds a 12/24-hour display and date window. Luminous hands support reading in dim conditions, while the stated 100 m water resistance gives it substantially more everyday water tolerance than Citizen’s 5 bar models. The larger case and added subdials do make it visually busier than a simple three-hand field watch, so choose it for timing functions as well as numerals.
Corso BM7090-51A: a clean legacy design
Citizen describes the 39 mm Corso BM7090-51A as “crisp and clean,” with easy-to-read black Arabic numerals on a white dial, a date indicator and luminous hour and minute hands. Its 100 m water resistance and Eco-Drive power make the specification straightforward for daily wear.

The important qualification is availability: Citizen’s page marks this model discontinued and sold out. It therefore belongs in a comparison of design and used-market possibilities, not as a guaranteed current recommendation. If you find one pre-owned, inspect the case, bracelet, crystal, date change and charging behavior, and confirm that replacement parts or service are practical in your region.

AW1881-52L: large blue dial with quantified accuracy
Citizen Europe lists the AW1881-52L with a 43 mm blue dial, Arabic numerals and dot indices. Its Eco-Drive J810 movement is specified at ±15 seconds per month and can run for 240 days without battery replacement. The 10 bar water-resistance rating is suitable for ordinary swimming-oriented use only when the watch is in good condition and the crown and seals are properly maintained; it is not a promise of suitability for every water activity.
The 43 mm diameter is substantial. Measure your wrist and compare the watch’s lug-to-lug span, which is not stated here, rather than relying on diameter alone. The blue dial and mixed numeral-dot layout also create a different visual effect from the Chandler’s white, chronograph-heavy face.
Citizen L EM0990-81A: the compact sapphire option
At 27.7 mm, the Citizen L EM0990-81A is the smallest documented model in this group. It uses a white Arabic-numeral dial, sapphire crystal, Eco-Drive E031 and a stated reserve of up to 180 days. Its 5 bar water resistance is lower than the 100 m and 10 bar examples above, so it is better understood as a compact everyday or dress-oriented watch than a high-water-exposure tool.
This size can be ideal when a 39–43 mm case overwhelms your wrist or when you prefer jewelry-like proportions. The trade-off is that the numerals and hands occupy less physical area, making contrast and viewing angle more important for quick reading.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
FE6121-67A: small case with mixed markers
The 33.5 mm FE6121-67A sits between the compact Citizen L and the mid-size field-watch choices. Its dial combines Arabic numerals with stick indices rather than printing all 12 hours as numerals. It includes a date, uses the Eco-Drive J810 movement, is rated at ±15 seconds per month, and has a 240-day power reserve. Water resistance is 5 bar.
Select it when you want some Arabic character without the visual density of twelve numerals. If your requirement is a fully numbered dial, this is not equivalent to the SRPG35 or the all-numeral Citizen descriptions; the stick indices are a material part of its layout.
Where Casio fits—and where the evidence stops
The available Casio evidence is an older catalog PDF showing an analog watch with large Arabic numerals, three hands, a day/date window and a metal bracelet. It does not identify a current model number, case size, movement caliber or present availability. That makes Casio useful as a category comparator—especially for readers seeking a straightforward quartz watch with practical calendar information—but not a verified current model recommendation.
Before buying any Casio watch found through a marketplace or an old image, obtain the exact reference number and check the current regional specification. Confirm whether the dial has twelve numerals or a mixed layout, the case diameter, water resistance, crystal material, battery type and day/date language. Without those checks, a catalog image cannot support a like-for-like comparison with the specified Citizen and Seiko models.

How the choices differ in daily use
Legibility
- Most purpose-built: SRPG35, because Seiko explicitly designed its numeral typeface for watch dials and uses embossed markers.
- Highest contrast in the documented descriptions: the Corso’s black numerals on white and the Chandler’s crisp numerals on a patterned white dial, subject to the Corso’s discontinued status.
- Mixed layouts: AW1881-52L uses numerals with dots, while FE6121-67A uses numerals with stick indices. These are less uniform than a full 12-numeral dial.
- Small-format reading: EM0990-81A’s 27.7 mm case reduces the physical size of every dial element, even though the dial is fully Arabic-numeral.
Size and presence
The documented Citizen range spans 27.7 mm to 43 mm. The SRPG35’s 39.4 mm case is near the middle. Smaller cases generally wear more discreetly; larger cases create a broader dial opening but can overhang a narrow wrist. Case diameter alone cannot predict fit, because lug length, thickness and strap or bracelet articulation are also important, and those measurements are not established for every model here.
Power and accuracy
Citizen’s Eco-Drive models use light power. The AW1881-52L and FE6121-67A specify ±15 seconds per month and 240 days of reserve, while the EM0990-81A specifies up to 180 days. The Chandler and Corso are identified as Eco-Drive, but the available descriptions do not give a monthly accuracy figure for them. Seiko’s SRPG35 is positioned as a mechanical field watch, so its ownership pattern differs from a light-powered quartz watch: confirm the exact caliber and expected operating reserve for your region. The Casio example is associated with quartz, but its exact movement is not stated.
Functions and water resistance
Choose the Chandler when a chronograph, 12/24-hour display and 60-minute timing range are central requirements. Choose a simpler three-hand model when an uncluttered dial is more valuable than timing functions. Date displays appear on the Chandler, Corso and FE6121-67A; the Casio catalog example adds day and date. Resistance ratings are not interchangeable: Citizen lists 5 bar on the EM0990-81A and FE6121-67A, 10 bar on the AW1881-52L and 100 m on the Chandler and Corso.

- Decide whether every hour must be a numeral. If yes, start with the SRPG35, Chandler, Corso or EM0990-81A descriptions; treat the AW1881-52L and FE6121-67A as mixed-marker designs.
- Set your size limit. Use 27.7 mm, 33.5 mm, 39 mm, 39.4 mm, 42 mm and 43 mm as the documented reference points, then check lug-to-lug fit.
- Choose power behavior. Eco-Drive favors light-powered, low-maintenance ownership. A mechanical Seiko offers a different interaction and requires movement-specific expectations. A Casio selection must be checked by exact reference.
- Match functions to actual use. Pick the Chandler for chronograph timing, a date model for calendar convenience, and a simpler field layout when instant time reading is the priority.
- Set the water-resistance floor. Do not treat a 5 bar rating as equivalent to 100 m or 10 bar. Account for seal age and servicing on used watches.
- Verify availability before paying. The Corso is discontinued and sold out on its official page, and the Casio example lacks current identification. Regional stock, warranty and specifications can differ.
Which model suits which buyer?
- Best match for a dedicated Arabic field dial: Seiko 5 Sports Field SRPG35.
- Best Citizen for timing functions: Chandler CA0330-59A, with chronograph, 12/24-hour display and date.
- Best compact fully numbered option: Citizen L EM0990-81A at 27.7 mm, provided 5 bar resistance meets your needs.
- Best mid-size mixed-marker Citizen: FE6121-67A at 33.5 mm, when a date and smaller profile matter more than twelve numerals.
- Best large blue-dial Citizen: AW1881-52L at 43 mm, with quantified ±15 seconds/month accuracy and 240-day reserve.
- Best historical or dress-oriented direction: Seiko’s 2026 Laurel-inspired enamel model, subject to confirmation of final regional specifications.
- Casio choice: only after identifying a current reference and verifying its size, movement, functions and stock; the catalog image alone is insufficient.
Buying and verification checklist
- Confirm the exact model number printed on the case, warranty card or current manufacturer listing.
- Check whether the dial is fully Arabic-numeral or combines numerals with dots, bars or indices.
- Compare case diameter and lug-to-lug dimensions with a watch you already wear.
- For Eco-Drive models, ask how the watch was stored and whether it has been exposed to light regularly.
- For a used Corso or any older Casio, inspect crystal, seals, bracelet wear, date operation and service history.
- Read the regional water-resistance and warranty terms; ratings do not eliminate the need for intact seals and periodic checks.
- Confirm that the listed color, bracelet or strap and movement match the seller’s photos and reference number.
The Bottom Line
Choose the Seiko SRPG35 for the most coherent Arabic-numeral field-watch design. Choose Citizen when you need the widest size and function range, from the Chandler chronograph to compact Eco-Drive models. Treat Casio as a quartz comparison category until a current, fully specified reference is verified.
