The movie is a revenge story with a fractured, two-timeline structure. It does not, on the evidence published about it, involve characters travelling through time, so the “time-travel” label in the headline is best read as a loose description of the narrative rather than the plot.
Who is in the cast, and who plays whom
Millennium Media’s official page for the film lists Christopher Lloyd, Katharine Isabelle, Jesse McCartney, Kyle Schmid and Michael Ironside in its cast. Two roles are confirmed by the catalogue listing: Lloyd plays Cyrus, and Isabelle plays Gwen, the film’s central character.

The published descriptions confirm Lloyd’s role as Cyrus but do not spell out the character’s standing in the story beyond that. The “villain” description in the headline is therefore a characterization by the headline writer, not something the official listings state outright. Readers who want to judge it for themselves will need to watch the film.
What the film is about
The story opens with Gwen coming to in a roadside diner, unsure how she got there. From that point the film follows a revenge-driven search for the person responsible for the death of her lover. The distributor describes it as a violent, revenge-fueled hunt, and that is the clearest one-line account of what drives the plot.
#1 Best Overall
Because the film is built around Gwen’s search rather than around Cyrus’s motives, anyone expecting Lloyd to carry the story should adjust expectations. He is one piece of a thriller whose momentum comes from Gwen’s pursuit.
Does it involve time travel?
Not on the evidence available. The time-related hook comes from how the film is structured. Apple TV’s catalogue description says the narrative is divided between two timelines that blur reality and fiction. That is a description of a fractured or dual-timeline story. It is not a statement that any character moves between periods, and no published source supplied here makes that claim.

The two listings also file the film in different genre boxes, which is worth noting if you are sorting it into a catalogue:

| Millennium Media (official film page) | Action | Synopsis centres on Gwen’s revenge search; no time travel described |
| Apple TV (catalogue listing) | Thriller/action | Narrative split between two timelines that blur reality and fiction |
Neither listing calls the film science fiction. Describing it as a sci-fi time-travel movie goes beyond what these sources say, so the more accurate label is a revenge thriller with a dual-timeline structure.

Release history and where to watch
Apple TV lists the film’s release year as 2015 and its runtime as 1 hour 28 minutes, and credits WANGO Films in its copyright details. A September 27, 2026 article by Liz Young on AOL reports that the film did not reach U.S. theaters and was released in the U.S. on home video as a DVD. That is a secondary-source claim, and it is the only published source supplied for the theatrical history, so treat it as reported rather than independently confirmed.
If you want to own a copy, a DVD is the most direct physical option that the reporting describes. Before buying, check that the listing shows the 2015 film directed by April Mullen with Lloyd and Isabelle in the cast, and confirm the disc’s region compatibility with your player.
