Neither phone is a proven overall winner from specifications alone: comparable camera, performance and battery tests are needed to decide which is better in everyday use.
Which is better, realme GT 8 Pro or OPPO Find X9?
It depends on what you value. On the manufacturers’ published specifications, the GT 8 Pro is the stronger fit if display resolution, maximum refresh rate or wired charging speed is your priority. The Find X9 lists a 7025mAh typical battery, a four-sensor rear camera arrangement and an IP66, IP68 and IP69 rating. Those specification differences do not establish which phone performs better overall.

Which phone has the better display?
The GT 8 Pro leads on the listed display figures: its 6.79-inch panel is QHD+ at 3136 × 1440 pixels, up to 144Hz and 508ppi. The Find X9’s 6.74-inch display is FHD+ at 2760 × 1256 pixels, up to 120Hz and 460ppi. Choose realme if those higher resolution and refresh-rate ceilings are the deciding specifications.
These figures do not show how bright, color-accurate or readable either screen is in real use, or how much its settings affect battery life. The panels’ maximum refresh rates are not a measure of overall display quality.

Which phone is faster?
The realme uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with Adreno 840 graphics; OPPO lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and an Arm Mali GPU. The manufacturers’ specification pages identify different flagship platforms, but do not provide a matched benchmark or sustained-load comparison. There is not enough evidence here to call either phone faster, cooler or better for gaming.

The GT 8 Pro lists a 200MP telephoto camera alongside 50MP main and ultrawide cameras. The Find X9 lists 50MP main, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, plus a 2MP monochrome sensor. OPPO specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main and telephoto cameras. The realme specification text cited here does not make the same OIS statement; that omission is not proof that stabilization is absent.

realme also lists RICOH GR modes, while OPPO lists Hasselblad modes. These are manufacturer-described camera features, not evidence of image quality. Megapixel counts alone cannot determine which phone takes better photos. Compare images and videos shot in similar conditions, including low light, zoom and motion, before choosing on camera performance. Both manufacturers list high-resolution video options, but features depend on the selected mode.
Which phone has better battery and charging?
OPPO lists a 7025mAh typical battery, 25mAh more than realme’s 7000mAh typical figure. realme specifies up to 120W wired charging, compared with OPPO’s up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Both list up to 50W wireless charging, under their respective AIRVOOC and realme specifications.

A current price difference cannot be calculated from the official price evidence cited here: OPPO’s figures are launch prices, and the realme announcement and specification page do not state a usable GT 8 Pro price. Do not treat OPPO’s launch prices as current offers or infer a realme price.
OPPO announced Find X9 in India on 18 November 2025 at INR 74,999 for 12GB+256GB and INR 84,999 for 16GB+512GB, with sales beginning 21 November 2025. Its announcement named OPPO’s own store, Flipkart and mainline retail outlets for the standard Find X9. These are dated launch prices, not confirmation of current availability or selling prices.
realme’s India announcement, published 7 November 2025, said the GT 8 Pro would be unveiled on 20 November 2025 and available through realme.com, but did not give a price. Its specification page lists configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and notes that configurations vary by country and region. Check current listings in India and match RAM and storage tiers before comparing offers. Sources: OPPO’s India launch announcement and realme’s India announcement.
Quick Recap
What should you check before choosing?
- Prioritize the GT 8 Pro if its higher listed resolution, refresh-rate ceiling or maximum wired charging rating best fits your needs.
- Consider the Find X9 if its listed battery capacity, camera configuration or IP ratings matter more to you.
- For camera, performance and battery life, look for independent comparisons using the same conditions; the published specifications do not settle those questions.
- For price, compare the same memory and storage tier, regional variant and current India offer rather than treating a launch price as a live quote.
- Check the local software build and support commitment before buying. The cited pages name realme UI 7.0 and ColorOS 16 but do not establish comparative update durations.
