There is no tested overall winner in this shortlist. These five NVIDIA-listed monitors are specification-led options for different priorities: 1440p at very high refresh rates, 4K OLED, or an ultrawide screen. Match the resolution and refresh range to your graphics card, games, desk space, and budget, then confirm the exact regional model and setup requirements before buying.
Five NVIDIA-listed G-SYNC monitor options by use case
NVIDIA’s catalog lists each model’s size, resolution, panel type, and variable refresh rate (VRR) range. The figures below are catalog specifications, not independent measurements of image quality, motion clarity, latency, or durability. Treat these as candidates to compare rather than a performance ranking. Check the current NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor catalog for the exact model and its listed category, input, and driver details.

| Use case | Model | Catalog specifications | Why consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Very high-refresh 1440p | ASUS ROG PG27AQDP | 27-inch OLED; 2560×1440; VRR 48–480 Hz | A QHD option for buyers who prioritize a high maximum refresh rate. The specification alone does not establish a competitive advantage. |
| Compact 4K | ASUS ROG PG27UCDM | 27-inch OLED; 3840×2160; VRR 48–240 Hz | Consider it if you want 4K resolution in a 27-inch format. |
| Larger 4K | LG 32GX870A | 32-inch OLED; 3840×2160; VRR 48–240 Hz | Offers the same listed resolution and VRR range as the ASUS 27-inch 4K option, in a larger screen size. The catalog does not establish which is better value. |
| Ultrawide OLED | LG 34GS95QE family | 34-inch OLED; 3440×1440; VRR 48–240 Hz | A wider format for people who prefer an ultrawide desktop or game view. Confirm whether a listing is the exact regional 34GS95QE or 34GS95QB model. |
| Very high-refresh 1440p | MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 | 26.5-inch OLED; 2560×1440; VRR 48–500 Hz | Its listed maximum is higher than the ASUS 480 Hz QHD example; that is a specification comparison, not a measured head-to-head result. |
How to choose between 1440p, 4K, and ultrawide
Choose 1440p when refresh rate is the priority
Both 1440p candidates have exceptionally high listed maximum refresh rates, while keeping resolution below 4K. A display’s maximum rate is not a promise that a PC will render every game at that frame rate: results depend on the graphics card, game, and settings. Compare the VRR range alongside the resolution rather than treating the top number as a performance guarantee.
Choose 4K for a higher-resolution 27- or 32-inch screen
The ASUS is listed at 27 inches and the LG at 32 inches; both are 3840×2160 OLED displays with a 48–240 Hz VRR range. The larger model gives you a physically larger screen at the same resolution, not a higher resolution. Your PC must still be able to render the games and settings you want at 4K.
#1 Best Overall
- Samsung’s 32” Odyssey G5 QHD Gaming Monitor delivers brilliant visuals for exhilarating gameplay that’s more immersive than ever before.
- QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) boasts incredibly detailed, pin-sharp images.
- With a wide 178° viewing angle, the IPS panel consistently delivers crisp, clear hues from various viewpoints.
- 180Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms response time (GtG) allow fast reactions for ultra-smooth gaming, plus G-Sync compatibility syncs the GPU and panel to reduce choppiness, screen lag, and image tearing.
- HDR10 provides brighter highlights and nuanced shadows for added depth.
Choose ultrawide if the wider format suits your desk and games
The LG family’s 3440×1440, 34-inch format is wider than standard 16:9 1440p. Check that your games support the aspect ratio as you expect, and make sure the display fits your desk. The catalog’s specifications do not establish image quality, text clarity, or how well a particular game handles ultrawide.
What the G-SYNC listing does—and does not—tell you
NVIDIA says, “All G-SYNC monitors are tested for quality and compatibility with the GeForce® gaming platform.” Its catalog separates products by category and provides filters and specifications including manufacturer, model, resolution, size, panel, HDR, VRR range, input, and minimum driver. Preserve the exact category shown there: “G-SYNC Compatible,” “G-SYNC,” and “G-SYNC ULTIMATE” are not interchangeable labels. A listing is useful compatibility information, but it is not an independent review of image quality or a guarantee that your PC will reach the monitor’s maximum refresh rate.
Rank #2
- 27-inch Full HD Fast IPS Display: Features a 1920 x 1080 resolution Fast IPS panel with 240Hz refresh rate for fast paced gameplay
- Ultra-Fast Response Time: ASUS Fast IPS technology enables a 0.3ms (min) response time for sharp gaming visuals with high frame rates
- Adaptive Sync Technology: FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatible delivers a seamless, tear-free gaming experience

- Convenient Monitor Control: DisplayWidget Center enables easy OSD access and monitor settings adjustments with a mouse
In a 2025 driver announcement, NVIDIA described newly supported G-SYNC Compatible displays as providing a “baseline Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) experience.” That announcement covered 19 displays in that particular driver release; it is dated context, not a count of the current catalog.

- Match the complete model name and regional SKU. Check the manufacturer’s product page and retailer listing against NVIDIA’s current catalog. For the LG ultrawide family, confirm the suffix rather than assuming every 34GS95QB/34GS95QE listing is identical.
- Confirm the catalog category and requirements. Look up the exact model in the NVIDIA catalog and note its G-SYNC tier, VRR range, input, and minimum driver.
- Check the whole signal path. Verify that your graphics card output, selected monitor input, and cable support the resolution and refresh rate you intend to use. Check both NVIDIA’s listing and the monitor maker’s regional specifications.
- Check practical fit and purchase terms. Confirm desk space, current price, local stock, warranty, and return policy where you plan to buy. The cited catalog does not establish retailer pricing or availability.
What about newer announced monitors?
NVIDIA’s Gamescom 2026 announcement described the AGON by AOC AGP327KG as a 31.5-inch, 5120×2880 display with native 144 Hz and G-SYNC Pulsar, alongside an ambient-light-sensor feature. The announcement documents a showcase, not broad retail availability. Verify current catalog status and local stock before treating it as a purchasable option.
Rank #3

- Package Contents: DisplayPort cable, L-shaped Screwdriver, Power cord, Power adapter, Quick start guide, Warranty Card
The same announcement discussed several high-refresh 1080p monitors, including announced ASUS OLED models and the LG 25G590B-B. Announcement specifications, expected shipping, and price are not a substitute for confirming final specifications and current availability. NVIDIA’s Computex 2026 partner showcase also described ASUS ROG Swift OLED examples with alternate resolution and refresh modes. These announcements are useful to watch, but they are not included in the five-model shortlist because the available information does not establish their current catalog status and regional availability.
