What the CTM216W specification sheet says
CHiQ’s 2018 specification sheet lists a total capacity of 216 litres, divided into 154 litres for the refrigerator and 62 litres for the freezer. It gives product dimensions of 545 × 1465 × 590 mm (width × height × depth), a net weight of 45 kg and a gross weight of 49 kg. The sheet also lists frost-free operation, multi-air flow, an interior LED, a humidity-control crisper, tempered-glass shelves and R600a refrigerant. It records a 3 + 7 year warranty, but that is a historical listing: it does not establish the warranty’s scope or whether it applies to a unit bought today.
Is the CTM216W top-mount or bottom-mount?
The available documents disagree. CHiQ’s 2018 specification sheet identifies the CTM216W as a top-mount refrigerator. A manual copy titled for CTM216W/CTM215S calls the appliance a frost-free bottom-mounted refrigerator. Before comparing the CTM216W with another layout or arranging a purchase, check the model number and configuration on the actual appliance’s rating plate or label. If the label does not settle it, ask CHiQ support to confirm using the complete model details. Will it fit your space?
Use the listed product dimensions—545 mm wide, 1465 mm high and 590 mm deep—as the starting point for a fit check. Measure the intended space, including the route through doorways and hallways. Allow for installation clearance and door movement, but do not assume a specific clearance requirement: one is not established in the available CTM216W specification.

Is it still available, supported or worth buying?
The review listing describes the CTM216W as discontinued. That does not prove that no new old stock or second-hand units remain, and current listings or prices have not been established. Availability, local service, warranty coverage and compatible replacement parts also remain unverified.
If you are considering one, make the decision around the specific unit and your ability to get it serviced. Confirm the model and layout, inspect its condition, verify that it cools and freezes as expected, and ask the seller or manufacturer about support and parts before committing. Do not assume shelves, door gaskets or other repair items fit based on the model name without compatibility confirmation.

When comparing it with another refrigerator, compare usable capacity and the fridge/freezer split, dimensions and installation fit, verified mount layout, frost-free operation, energy ratings under the same scheme, warranty scope, age and condition, service and parts availability, and price. The 3.5-star figure on the CTM216W sheet should not be compared directly with a newer label unless the rating schemes match.
