A Lang & Schwarz after-hours record cited by AD HOC NEWS also showed a €1.13 after-hours trade at 9:42 p.m. CEST on October 12. The €1.12 figure should therefore be read as a bid-level or pre-market indication, not automatically as a completed Xetra trade.
What the €1.12 figure represents
The headline number is tied to a specific quote rather than a confirmed closing price. In the cited October 12, 2026 Lang & Schwarz record, the bid was €1.12 and the ask was €1.13. The same record reported an after-hours trade at €1.13 at 9:42 p.m. CEST. A bid is the price available from a buyer; an ask is the price requested by a seller. A trade is completed only when a buy and sell order match.

That distinction matters because a pre-market indication can change before the opening auction and may not be executable for every investor. A separate quote-check account said it could not independently locate a dated venue record confirming €1.12 for October 12. That does not establish that the figure was false; it means the number should be reported with its venue, timestamp, currency and quote type.

October 13, 2026 was the next regular Xetra session after the October 12 report. Xetra’s scheduled opening time was 9:00 a.m. CEST. The Lang & Schwarz indications were available before that session, so the eventual Xetra opening price could have been higher, lower or unchanged.

For context, AD HOC NEWS reported another Lang & Schwarz pre-market observation on October 8, 2026 at 7:59:45 a.m. CEST: €1.10 indicated, with a €1.09 bid and €1.11 ask. That earlier example shows why a displayed pre-market number should not be treated as a guaranteed opening print. A weekend report recorded a €1.08 Xetra close on October 2 and identified October 5 as the following Xetra session.

How the Shanghai price fits in
The company’s Shanghai-listed shares were reported at CNY 11.31 on October 12, with 145,355,635 shares traded. The SSE Composite was 3,797.24. Those are observations from a Chinese venue in renminbi, while the €1.12 and €1.13 figures are euro-denominated indications for the European market. They are not interchangeable prices.

Comparing them requires more than a currency conversion. Investors would need to account for the listing, share ratio, foreign-exchange rate, market hours and the exact timestamp. A Shanghai quote can remain unchanged while a European indication moves, or the reverse, because the venues are open at different times and respond to different order flows.
