Provisioning grew faster than income

Asset quality and capital position

- Non-performing loan ratio: 1.29%.
- Allowance-to-NPL coverage: 238.69%.
- Core Tier-1 capital adequacy ratio: 14.24%.
The 1.29% NPL ratio and 238.69% coverage ratio provide context for the higher impairment charge, while the 14.24% core Tier-1 ratio indicates the capital buffer reported in the interim release. These measures should be read together rather than treating profit growth alone as a complete assessment of the bank.
