Remittix said it opened testing of its PayFi service to an initial group of 1,000 selected holders on October 1, 2026. The company describes PayFi as a way to fund transfers with supported digital assets and deliver fiat to recipients through compatible bank accounts. That is an early product test—not evidence of scaled payment use, and not a documented connection to Chainlink.
What Remittix announced about the 1,000-person test
In an October 2, 2026 release, Remittix said 1,000 selected holders were testing EUR and USD payment routes. The company said it plans to add more currencies, crypto assets, and networks. The announcement describes an initial test cohort; it does not establish that all 1,000 participants completed transfers or that the service is generally available.

Remittix describes the PayFi flow as a user funding a transfer with a supported digital asset while the recipient receives fiat through a compatible bank account. The release does not specify in the cited material which particular assets, banks, countries, fees, exchange rates, or settlement times apply. It also does not identify a verified conversion rate from test participants to repeat payment activity.
How the Remittix announcement differs from Chainlink’s news
These are separate announcements about different kinds of activity. Chainlink’s official newsroom listed September 28, 2026 announcements concerning connections between financial institutions and Swift’s blockchain ledger, and the launch of CCIP 2.0. Remittix’s announcement concerns an invited user test of a crypto-to-bank payment service. Neither announcement, as described in the cited materials, establishes a direct Chainlink–Remittix integration.

| Comparison point | Chainlink news | Remittix PayFi test |
|---|---|---|
| Primary focus | Institutional blockchain infrastructure announcements, including work involving Swift’s blockchain ledger and CCIP 2.0. | An initial cohort testing EUR and USD routes for a crypto-to-bank payment service. |
| Stage evidenced by the announcement | The Chainlink newsroom lists announcements; the cited material does not establish from this alone the scale of production usage for each initiative. | Remittix reported a test involving 1,000 selected holders; this is not proof of scaled adoption. |
| Token role or value accrual | The cited announcements do not establish a guaranteed value-accrual mechanism for LINK. | The cited release does not establish a guaranteed value-accrual mechanism for RTX, nor that RTX is required to fund the test transfers. |
| Usage figures | Not stated in the cited Chainlink announcements summarized here. | Remittix reported the cohort size and other company-supplied milestones; independently audited usage figures are not established in the cited release. |
Chainlink’s CCIP 2.0 announcement frames tokenization as moving toward broader distribution and real-world utility. Lamine Brahimi, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Taurus, said: “Chainlink CCIP is a key standard for how digital assets are managed and distributed across global markets while maintaining institutional security, compliance, and operational controls.” That statement describes the institutional-infrastructure case for CCIP; it is not evidence of a Remittix integration.
What Remittix says it has achieved—and what those figures show
Remittix also reported more than 10,000 Remittix Wallet downloads, more than $50 million in Remittix Markets perpetual-futures volume, and more than $32 million raised from over 40,000 participants. The company said RTX was scheduled to launch on November 24, 2026. These are company-reported milestones and a planned date, not independently audited figures or proof of future performance.

The figures describe different things and should not be combined into a single measure of payment adoption. Downloads are not necessarily active wallets; trading volume is not the same as payment volume; fundraising participation does not demonstrate recurring product use; and the test cohort is not a count of completed or repeated bank transfers.

A test cohort can show that a product is being tried, but assessing whether it is becoming a usable payment service requires evidence about access, successful transactions, repeat behavior, and the token’s actual role. Useful diligence questions include:
Rank #3
- Ideal for decorative applications, swings, animal control, wallets and accessories.
- Availability: Which countries, banks, currencies, networks, and digital assets can participants actually use, and is access limited to invited testers?
- Payment outcomes: How many transfers were initiated, completed, failed, or reversed? What are the typical settlement times, fees, and exchange rates?
- Repeat use: How many participants made a second or later payment, rather than only registering or trying one transfer?
- Token function: Is RTX required for payment, fees, settlement, or another specific function, or is the service usable with other supported assets? What mechanism, if any, links service activity to token demand or value?
- Verification: Are activity metrics independently auditable, and are reported figures clearly defined by period and methodology?
- Access and safeguards: What custody arrangements, consumer protections, and regulatory permissions apply in each operating market?
The cited announcements do not answer all of these questions. In particular, they do not establish a direct Chainlink–Remittix integration, a guaranteed value-accrual mechanism for LINK or RTX, or audited evidence that test users are becoming recurring payment users.

For a buyer looking beyond LINK, the key distinction is not which announcement sounds more exciting; it is what kind of evidence each one offers. Chainlink’s cited news concerns institutional infrastructure initiatives, while Remittix’s concerns a test cohort for a consumer-facing payment flow. The available announcements are not enough to rank LINK and RTX as investments. A sound comparison would require verifiable adoption and token-specific evidence, alongside consideration of liquidity, custody, and regulatory access.
