Casio’s Japan lineup adds five Baby-G BGA-3000 variants scheduled for October 2026. All share a slim, 11.2 mm case, a stainless-steel bezel, Tough Solar charging and Multiband 6 radio time correction. The key choice is not just color: three models use urethane bands, while two use composite metal-and-resin bands. Casio’s listed prices are Japan-market suggested retail prices; availability elsewhere is not established by these listings.
What is new in the Baby-G BGA-3000?
The BGA-3000 series combines an analog-digital display with a stainless-steel bezel and a compact resin case. Casio describes the dial as having fine circular grooves. The case is 11.2 mm thick, and all five Japan-market variants are listed for October 2026. These are manufacturer specifications and design descriptions, not independent comfort or durability test results. Casio’s BGA-3000 family page lists the lineup and shared functions.

Solar charging and radio time correction
Tough Solar converts light into power for the watch. It reduces reliance on conventional battery replacement, but it does not mean the watch never needs charging or that its power supply lasts indefinitely. Casio says Multiband 6 receives standard time signals from six stations worldwide for automatic time correction. This is radio-controlled timekeeping, not Bluetooth or smartphone syncing; reception depends on being within a supported region and on local conditions.
Functions and water resistance
Casio lists shock resistance and 10-bar water resistance, as well as world time for 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms and LED illumination. The feature list is shared across the series listing; consult the regional product page for details before relying on a function in a particular use case.

How the five BGA-3000 variants differ
The models are not simply five color choices. The three BGA-3000 variants have urethane bands; the BGA-3000C and BGA-3000CG use composite bands combining metal and resin. Casio describes the composite style as having a one-push three-fold clasp. The CG version has a premium finish and a higher Japan-market listed price.

Casio’s operating-duration estimates
Casio estimates approximately eight months of operation after a full charge with no further solar generation under typical function use, or approximately 20 months in power-saving mode. These are manufacturer estimates, not a promise of runtime under every pattern of use or lighting condition.
Where are the watches available?
Casio’s cited pages are Japan-market listings and identify the models as scheduled for October 2026. Gizmochina reported on October 5, 2026 that Japanese pre-orders were open through Casio Japan’s online store. That report establishes neither current stock nor a release date for other countries. Check Casio or an authorized local retailer for regional availability, pricing and model numbers.

- Choose a BGA-3000 urethane model if you prefer that band style; the 2AJF has the clearest cited specification and price information in Casio’s listing.
- Choose a BGA-3000C composite model if you want the metal-and-resin band and one-push three-fold clasp. Its reported Japan price is from Gizmochina, so verify the seller’s current local price.
- Choose the BGA-3000CG if the gold-tone premium finish is the priority; Casio lists it at ¥42,350 including tax in Japan and specifies a 50 g weight.
For any variant, confirm the exact model suffix, local warranty and availability before buying; Japan-market specifications and prices do not establish what a retailer in another country carries.
