Casio’s new BABY-G＋PLUS BGA-20K is an analog watch with a playful twist: the face graphic visible through two small dial windows changes when the date changes. Casio Japan lists three color variants—BGA-20K-1AJR, BGA-20K-4AJR and BGA-20K-7AJR—and each can also be displayed in an included holder as a bag charm or desk accessory.
How the BGA-20K’s expression changes
The dial uses a rotating disc behind two small windows to alter the eye shapes in its face motif. The effect is mechanical, not a digital screen or an app animation. Casio’s Japanese product page says, in translation, that “the expression visible through the small windows changes every day along with the date.” The change occurs at the date change.

Casio Japan’s product index lists three BGA-20K models. They are color and model-code alternatives; the official listings do not identify different feature tiers.

Casio Japan gives October 2026 as the release month and lists a manufacturer suggested retail price of ¥12,100 including tax for each. Casio’s BGA-20K-1AJR product page provides the product details; its BABY-G product index names all three models at the same price. Gizmochina reported on October 5, 2026, that Japanese preorders were underway and shipping was expected in October; that is the report’s timing, separate from Casio’s month-only release listing. Gizmochina’s launch report provides that context.

Can you wear it as a charm?
Yes. The center watch can be worn on its resin band, or moved into the included strap holder to display it as a bag accessory or small desk decoration. Casio describes the holder as supporting these alternative uses; the launch report describes removing the watch module from the band and fitting it into the holder.
