- Choose Social if selected social apps and airline sites meet your needs and you do not need ordinary email, general browsing, or streaming.
- Choose Value if you need broader browsing and email but do not need video streaming.
- Choose Premium if you want supported streaming or video calls when ship coverage permits. It still does not support cellular-network-dependent Wi-Fi calling.
- Consider Multi-Device Premium if up to four devices need access at once and you can purchase online before sailing.
How to buy Carnival Wi-Fi
- Before sailing: Use Manage My Booking or Carnival’s Internet Plans shop to pre-purchase a cruise-long plan. Carnival generally allows pre-purchase until 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before embarkation. The multi-device plan is only available this way.
- Onboard: Daily plans can be purchased through your device’s Wi-Fi settings. The multi-device Premium plan is not sold onboard.
- Check your sailing’s price: Published rates are starting prices, not guaranteed prices for every voyage. Pre-cruise and onboard prices may differ, and Carnival says pricing can change without notice.
Can you use cellular data instead?
Your phone may connect to a cellular network at sea, but that is separate from Carnival’s Wi-Fi and may incur roaming charges from your carrier. Carnival recommends turning on airplane mode before connecting to the ship’s Wi-Fi. Airplane mode helps avoid cellular roaming; it does not provide internet access or replace a Carnival plan.
