Cardsmiths will bring three Fall 2026 convention-exclusive trading card lines—Currency, Street Fighter and Betty Boop—to New York Comic Con, scheduled for October 8–11 at the Javits Center in New York City. The company says attendees can find them at Booth #3462. The Currency line includes cryptocurrency redemption cards described as offering major hits up to 0.1 Bitcoin; that is a possible redemption, not a guaranteed Bitcoin payout. Cardsmiths announced the lineup.
What Cardsmiths is bringing to NYCC 2026
Cardsmiths describes all three releases as event-only exclusives. Its announcement frames the designs as a tribute to New York and the convention’s 20th anniversary. Co-founder and CEO Steve Loney said the company wanted to mark the anniversary with something “uniquely Cardsmiths” and that some of the year’s designs were inspired by the city.
| Release | Announced designs | Disclosed variants or chase details |
|---|---|---|
| Currency Fall 2026 Convention Exclusive | 3 unique card designs | Gemstone Parallels; cryptocurrency redemption cards described as redeemable for major hits up to 0.1 Bitcoin. |
| Street Fighter Fall 2026 Convention Exclusive | 50 designs based on Street Fighter V; officially licensed | Cherry Blossom and Yoshino Blossom variations are each numbered to 25 copies. White Lotus is limited to 1 copy of each card design. |
| Betty Boop Fall 2026 Convention Exclusive | 5 unique designs with a New York theme | Gemstone Parallels and Gold-Foil Signature Cards. |
What the Bitcoin chase-card wording means
The Currency announcement describes cryptocurrency redemption cards as redeemable for “major hits up to 0.1 Bitcoin.” “Up to” sets a maximum described in the announcement; it does not mean every redemption card is worth 0.1 Bitcoin, or that a buyer is assured of receiving Bitcoin. The announcement does not provide redemption odds or further terms, so those details should not be assumed.
How to find the exclusives at the convention
